My suggestions would honestly be to quit any other sports you're in (unless you're extremely good at them). You need to wrestle freestyle and greco roman in the off season. The only reason I ever made it to state was that I decided to wrestle freestyle after my first year of wrestling. Then I wrestled greco as a junior, and that helped me immensely. Best thing I ever did was quit football and wrestle full time.

Always remember this, Endurance and Technique over Muscle.

People always think that if you're just fucking ripped, you're going to kick ass, that's not true. I wrestle 125's and I can only bench about 110 and I went 33-0 this season just because I did cardio and practiced my technique like crazy.

i think that heavily depends on how big wrestling is in your area. in some places where your division is bad, npeople cna be succesful by tenaciousness, agressiveness, heart, and toughness and of course hard work

That is Jayson Ness. He was a freshman this year at the University of Minnesota and was also an All-American. He was ranked like 3rd or 4th in the country in D-1 at 125 lbs. He's a beast.
