just in case most did not see what happend, the redline actually did not display KA band, multiple signals with no indication of band could even be a false alarm, if you watch the redline go off, then comes on again AFTER the ix both then stating ka band, plus you have the ix in automatic mode instead of Highway mode
@Johnnyboy200406 Good point, otherwise, they both went off virtually the same time. I've been thinking of replacing my 9500ix w the redline strictly due to the supposed Ka performance differential but didn't see one here. Would be interesting to see how these perform against each other on highway at high speeds where the extra sensitivity would matter.

thx for posting. the 9500ix got beat on your test.
although, most people buying a 9500ix are probably buying the red light camera & speed trap features that the redline doesn't have.

The 9500's GPS has nothing to do with Ka band. only k and x band lockout and database...
