  • zildjian k's are the best rides you can possibly get for great stick definition

  • This and the K custom Complex ride would be a perfect combo for a jazz set up

  • That's the jazziest cymbal I've ever heard

  • I was wondering if this cymbal is durable enough to play some metal on it... Looks "sturdy", but I don't know. I'd like to buy one.

  • @Th3Hellrider as long as you have good technique you are probably ok

  • @Th3Hellrider How hard do you hit? I play death metal and i havent broken a cymbal yet.

  • @thisisformusiconly I haven't as well (yet), but I'd like to be sure about what I'm buying before spending like 400€ for a cymbal!

  • @Th3Hellrider Well i would say, check the fluidity of the cymbal(the more it shakes the better). Plus getting a $400 cymbal, they are made from better materials than those ZBTs(which are still fine btw). I would say this cymbal is heavier, and doesnt move as much, are you planning on riding it(lol)?

  • @thisisformusiconly all depends on technique.

  • yes, it would be perfect for jazz music. k custom is a very dark and dry cymbal, it fits perfectly into jazz (;

  • i`m in the look for the perfect ride cymbal could you personlay tell me what ride you recomend i mostly play rock and jazz

i really like the hammerax rides any info on that please do tell

cool snare what type is it?

  • hi,please help me,this cymbal is good for playing jazz?????

  • This would be an excellent cymbal for jazz music.

  • @memphisdrumshop

How about for anything else...rock, fusion...

I know everyones opinion is different

  • @davy89asr

this is the jazzyest cymbal ive heard haha so yea briliiant

  • its like a little louder than a dry ride i like it alot i might be sold

when i stopped into a random drum shop i played the high def high-hats and they were amazing as well

  • i have this ride it sounds way better if you play it with some vic firth dave weckl signatures or some american jazz 2

  • is it just me or is does that look like a really heavy ride?

  • It's not a heavy ride at all though

  • Probably because it's 22" big, most Ride cymbals you see are 20"

  • That'a a beautiful cymbal. You guys have the best job in the world.

  • ok so i've narrowed my choice for a new ride to the 2 in this video. the 21" k custom special dry ride and the 22" k custom high definition ride. any suggestions or opinions on which is better? i've used the k custom special dry before and it's the best i've tried yet but i do love the sound of this ride judging by this video. any help would be appreciated!!

  • if you get a high def ride, make sure its the 2nd generation model. The first year they made the high def ride, it was heavier and not as crashable. The newer model is more crashable and more dynamic imo. both are lust worthy though.

  • ya i've heard about that. i believe i tried the first one before and it's true that it was a lot heavier. i'll be sure to make sure that it's the 2nd gen if i take a look at it ;)

  • Very good ride. My friend has it! :)

  • i got it!!!! IT IS JUST AWESOME!
