I wonder if they'll have the game where you can play with Japanese audio and english subtitles, or it's just English. I like the original voices better than dubbed usually.

I've played and beaten every Star Ocean game and love the series to death, but there's no way I'm buying an Xbox 360, no matter what games are on it.

I've found translation patches for the first star ocean, but could never really get the ROM itself to play right, so I gave up. lol. Hell, by now, they probably have the original Star Ocean ROM posted up with it already translated into english for you, lol.

What's SFC? I keep thinking Street Fighter...what's the C stand for then? Then thing Shining Force...could be, but I've only played Shining Force EXA so wouldn't really know much about the series. I tried looking it up, and the highest it's gotten from my searches was 10%...I hate it when that happens. I have a translation patch for Itadaki Street Special for the PS2. That game is addicting!

I know what a Super Famicon is, they have a better design than the American SNES, I think. lol. They had also done a re release of the SNES or something once, too, because I've went to this flea market once and seen a US Super Famicon, it blew me away when I seen that.

There's probably gonna be more dungeons, voice acting (better voice acting even, maybe), the graphics are gonna be increased so much more, and probably some new weapons an equipment as well as it ALL being on 1 disc exclusive to the PS3. The 360 had 3 discs, and the PS3 version is gonna add a lot more and enhance it even while keeping it all to one disc. I laugh when I think about when the PS3 first came out and people thought Bluray was gonna be the death of the PS3. Lol.

360 disc swapping is a shit. swapping back and forth is annoying. I still have my 360 version and I enjoy it but looks like ill be trading it for the ps3 version when it comes out.

That's the worst part of the 360 version. Making the graphics softer and more rounded makes it look more complete, that's just another plus, lol. Not to mention the extra stuff they're adding, even a few more characters!!

SE want to make more money by putting XIII on 360 as well. If most games will stay on both consoles I'll be happy. Versus XIII is PS3-Exclusive though :)

First Tales of Vesperia and now this. What's up with the word "International?"

International is like a 'complete' version. They make an International version for all the Final Fantasy games (or at least from 7 up as far as I know) and made some for Kingdom Hearts 1&2, but those were called Final Mix and Final Mix+ instead. When they get an International release, it usually means that it's it's pretty much putting all the differences from each region together and even fixing problems from game to make it more complete, though that's not always exactly what they do, lol.

That is awesome. The 360 gets SO:TLH exclusive...then the PS3 gets the International version exclusive. If anything, they used the sales from the 360 version to make the PS3 one a complete version, lol.

I know they've done this with the Star Ocean game, Tales of Vesperia (which got more voice acting and the quality got bumped to full HD), and Trusty Bell (which looked a lot smoother on the PS3). You know of any other games they did this little manuver with? I'm hoping they do this with Infinite Undescovery and The Last Remnant. Those games were so overlooked. I bet if they get to the PS3, the sales for those games would skyrocket. lol

The Last Remnant has been announced for the ps3 to be released a while after the 360 but nothing has been said about it since then =/ so, I dunno.

If you have a Ps3, try playing Valkyria Chronicles, is not a traditional JRPG, but it is one of the best rpgs I've ever player, an AWESOME game.

i won't come out on the ps3, since if your part of SE why would you port a game to another console w/c is a failure to begin with. Not that I care if it gets ported or not since i bought it then a 3 days later i sold it back that's how it sucks. Though i kinda like the idea of the battle system but overall it sucks.

The Last Remnant was a great game, just probably didn't sell enough to fund a finishing project on it. I've tried Valkyrie Chronicles, but the games is really boring to me. I'm not really into tactical RPGs, the only game I've ever liked that was tactic based was FF Tactics Advance and the first FFTactics, those were just fun. Oh, and Black/Matrix. The music in those are awesome, just kind of hard to play since all the good ones aren't in English. lol.

Valkyria Chronicles is SRPG, aka Tactic. Not only that but it also has the layout as Ring of Red for PS2 From Konami. Sadly i think SE give up on Last Remnant. O well just wait till i get good PC an play it from there.

Star Ocean IV international edition comes out this coming feb. An the Last Remnant was trash I'd prefer they keep it on the 360.
