im not fighting your opinion because i have read the manga and i completely understand why its so controversial (being the reason i read it) but after the first 5 episodes you see the true plot and not the creepy perverseness it has.. probably a bad decision by the author for the age group.. if you were to watch (i recommend reading) i laughed at a few points and actually felt sorry for some characters with the drama its based on. this plot would have made more sense with a older age group.

It may be your opinion, but it's not all that bad, she never gets the sensei seduced, it may be be crude in many ways, but it's a rather touching story, especially when you learn about young Rin's past and how her childhood was crap, and how Reiji came into the family, I didn't cry on her mom's passing, bu I know, others thought it was truly depressing.
The fun parts is when the three girls are together causing mischief, while the tallest girl of the three, Usa, just wants to be a sweet-heart.
As, ahem, "forward" as Rin appears to be at times, she's only being a tease. She has no intention of having sex with Aoki and part of the reason she loves him is she KNOWS he would never try to take advantage of her.
I do feel there is an excessive amount of fanservice in both the anime and manga. It overshadows a dark and gripping story arc. If the author handled it a bit differently, this could've been a striking rebuke of the sexualization of minors in Japanese comics.

In the west people can't talk about kids and sex related stuff. It's just taboo. It exists, but it's still taboo, probably because of some religion that affects your culture.
This anime perfectly shows what's going on in young girls' minds, but it's the open and liberal nature of the show that you obviously can't take. I've seen the show and it's not that bad (I'm not pedo or loli). The characterizations get deeper, which I'm sure you'd know if you'd actually watched it. The manga goes further.

Please tell me most of the RAEG was for comedic effect? The series isn't bad in terms of content. It's also not that unrealistic. There are reasons behind the girls behaviour, which are explained later in the series (which I'll take your word you didn't watch, but I'm not entirely sure about that). Most of the sexual behaviour in it is very attention seeking and childish, even if the girls are sexually precocious.

As funny as your review is and all, I actually love the series, because the further you get into it, it gets really interesting. (like in the manga). I actually cried a lot because of this series, and they way you look at it is like watching one episode. I was the same way at first, but if you get past the lolicon (which gets lower in tone as you go on) it's an amazing deep series. P:
