Our "democracy" consists of the elite making greedy, short-sighted, craven decisions in secret, and then using the media to convince all of us that WE actually decided on what happened, or events are made to occur (like 9/11) for the specific intent of OPINION FORMATION on the part of citizens.

1 of the problems our generals and leaders have is that when something doesnt work instead of changing the policy, our 1st action is more. iraq and afghan. not working... we need more troops and more $ spent. oh its still not working and producing the exact same results?? lets flush more money and young ppl down the shit hole. still not working? lets elect a president that promises change, yet does the same thing as before... but lets add more troops and concentrate on the opposite war

Yeah "security" . You gain security by invading a country, butchering thousands of people, exploding faction violence, and drowing the country in blood in grief and suffering.

Every kid in Iraq and Afghanistan who had their parents and family ripped away from them by this imperial war of cocky criminal aggression, hates America now with every fiber in their body.

For every terrorist there was before the Iraq/Afghanistan criminal invasion, now there literally hundreds if not thousands more.

The Afghanistan Adventure IS worth it to the elitists making the decisions.

By invading Afghanistan, they managed to corner the market on opium (90% of the world's heroin comes from Afghan poppy fields), and can control the oil pipeline routes.

Remember what Dick Cheney said when that reporter told him most Americans don't want the war with Iraq? Cheney said, "So?" and smirked.

lets just stop paying taxes until congress pulls out of Iraq and Afganistan....tell congress we want the money spent of health care and on finding an alternate for oil....Congress works for us...what clearer message can we give them then by not paying our taxes...
