And I would like to add one more thing.. That so called waring device up town u can not here its electronic Now had they used a real air raid siren it would have been able heard better that is my 2 cents on that..thank you for reading this
What a storm that was. Over here off oak st. Power went out and the high tension wires over by Dixon rd where aching as i looked back to the west the aching of the wires allowed me to see this tornado. Now that was something to see. I'am an amateur radio operator and skywarn trained I have been doing this since 2004 and this is the first time I have ever seen this in person its a lot different then it is on tv. But thank god no one died. I hope no one has to go though this ever again..
I used to work at that Lonestar before moving to Atlanta last year... I also lived above the Viking barber shop... This is so very heartbreaking... I am so sorry this happened... May God bless those who have lost everything...
I live on Brewer Road it seemed to start its trail the house next to us and worked its way all the way through to the other side of town. I prayed there were no serious injuries or deaths and so far there haven't been. Keep the praying going. I also plan to volunteer tomorrow. It really odes make you think how fortunate one is and about how much one could lose in a few seconds.
Just missed my Mom's house on Petersburg Rd. Once she drove down the road and then M-50 yesterday, she realized just how lucky she was. She volunteered to help with the clean up in Dundee today. You never realize how precious life is until you face the unfortunate reality of it. Thanks for posting this video. It shows us to never take anything for granted.
thank you, and also...im thinking about setting up a donation center..as soon as i find out if MIS will back me up...they do need donations too don't they?
The Dundee police chief is asking for help as he and other officials continue to deal with the aftermath of a weekend tornado that wreaked havoc on the village just north of the Ohio boundary. If you'd like to volunteer to help with clean up efforts, call 734-529-3430.
