Great review. I am a wargamer as well as a solitare gamer and I felt the same way you did. It just didn't hold my interest. It was an exercise in tedium.

Hee.. pas.. aaa :)) Those macedonian-greek namings are hard :) As Marco has also reviewed this, so i think this can be counted as a wargame (board, counters and gameplay). So, this is an unusual review for you, but it's ok i think. Joe usually doesn't go that deep into explaining, probably because for wargamers everything is clear enough. For eurogamers such review sheds more light on it, but probably they still won't get interested :)

@wr00t Yeah this one was hard for me...just not in my area of expertise, not something I really enjoyed doing (solo gaming), and an all around confusing and interesting process in trying to review it. I can say you won't see TOO many war game reviews from me, nor will you see too many solo games, but I figured I'd give it a shot....thanks for bearing with me.
