  • Cabelas has mcmillans. They are selling the tac50 for $8k. Well at least the cabelas in Glendale, AZ has them since mcmillan is in Phoenix.

The 308 is $5k the 338 is $7k. WAY too expensive!!!

  • @freestylmx311 i just saw it and the reduced it to 6500 and they got a barrett 50 for 4500

  • at 0:48 you can hear the guy shit his pants

  • $7-10K depending on options. But it's the cadillac of 50 cal sniper rifles. Held the longest kill shot record for a while at 1.5 miles by Rob Furlong Canadanian Sniper. I've heard that it has since been broken by someone shooting a 338 Lapua Magnum but I can't verify that.

Search Longest Sniper Kill Shot on youtube.

  • @buryceberg Corporal Craig Harrison. usisng the Accuracy International built L115A3 (.338 Magnum). Two shots to confirm his shot placement, 2 more for two dead taliban 1.8 miles away. 4 shots in total, it took Canadian Rob Furlong 5 using the Macmillan .50 (1.5 miles). Harrison's shot alone is impressive, but to make it even more impressive, it was 800 yards out of his weapons effective range. But thats who did it, he is a british sniper. He made the shot in November 2010.

  • @JZ67SS Actually he killed 2 with one shot.

  • it starts at 00:43

  • i bet that hurt

  • My name: Matt McMillan

This gun: McMillan Tac 50 I know what gun i'm getting.

  • McMillan Tactical 50. CAL unit cost

    Tac 50a - $13,000

    Tac 50b - $17,800

  • @Tehpolev whats the diference between a and b ?

  • @13thmistral

    a is the basic model

b is an upgraded model, with a different bolt handle and other accessories.

  • @Tehpolev thanks for the info

  • about 10,000$

  • how much does this cost????

  • @MrNousmeister1 A lot

  • @rgvwheeler i said how much....just answer

  • @MrNousmeister1 And I said A LOT! It is not my gun, I didn't pay for it. Do some research I am not your acountant.

  • @rgvwheeler is it true that this rifle weighs 26lbs?

  • @jcodym13 yeah that is pretty close unloaded

  • @rgvwheeler wow, i thought i was just falling under a call of duty players belief when i first heard of this thing being over 25 lbs i thought it was bs but when i noticed it was 50BMG i kind of stopped denying it. but now i believe it since someone whose really shot it is telling me. its just that it looks lighter!

  • @MrNousmeister1 Around 7000 Dollar, with upgrades even more.

  • @MrNousmeister1 Yeah that is pretty close unloaded.

  • @MrNousmeister1 $10,000+ usd

  • @MrNousmeister1 $7999 as of 8/1/2011 minus shipping or upgrades. $10,000 NOT.

  • @MrNousmeister1 $7,999 for just the rifle, $10,000 in a tactical kit with some add-ons.

  • Canada has some awesome gear :)

  • nice rifle, it had the worlds longest kill for almost a decade there, it was beaten eventually, but still... nice gun!

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx um i read the record was beaten again by this gun

canada can make a good sniper can't they lol

we my not have the biggest army but we got the best spiner rifle in the world

  • @GodHatesEmoz you probably read about Rob Furlong in Op Andaconda, in 2002, Afghanistan, if im correct, but Rob Furlongs record was broken by a british sniper in november 2009,in Afghanistan, by about 200 meters. he used a L115A3, or L115A5. But still we have the best snipers ;)

  • this person "me" is famous in youtube xD

  • @FloridaSnookHunter I must have been mistaken but I wasn't able to find a video of you shooting a tac 50. Thats really wierd because I am sure you would know exactly what its like to cycle a tac 50 bolt. thanks for the advice! You helped a lot.

  • Comment removed

  • @FloridaSnookHunter who the hell is bob furlong i only know rob furlong

  • @TheBrisk3 rob furlong no longer holds the rediculous "longest confirmed kill" record anyway, a british shooter holds the record now

  • @FloridaSnookHunter hitting a target at 2430 meter, no matter what the gun, doesn't make someone a "choad" compared to anyone. rob furlong. in fact, i'd be very interested in what hathcock thinks about furlong.

one thing for sure, he wouldn't call him a "choad".

  • Comment removed

  • @FloridaSnookHunter if that is the best answer you can find, just dont answer anything and go try to hit a target at 1.5 mile with a mcmillan tac50 before telling anyone he's a choad for doing so with one.

  • @tipttt OK how do you know I havent already? Ive shot 416 barret, 408 cheytac, 338 lapua, my buddy that lives out west is into shooting big bore rifle. he had a semi auto fifty bmg he sold it cause of the new wildcats that shoot flatter. I have watched him do close to two mile shots in 10 MPH winds with a A.I. AW with a 408 barrel screwed on it. I'll make a video the next time im out there,,, choad LMAO

  • @FloridaSnookHunter ever hit a live target at 1.5 mile?

  • @tipttt no 15 inch steel gong and it didnt take 6 shots with gusting winds, my bad it was a A.I. fifty bmg with a 416 barrett barrel on it

  • im doing a project for law class are they prohibited or not i read that they are

  • @HemiFreak94

    your profile says you're 16,

    you make paper sniper rifles,

and then you make videos about your paper sniper rifles.

you're not in a law class.

  • @HemiFreak94

oh, i didn't realize that law was a hs subject.

when i was in we had us and world history, economics and political science but no law.

at least i don't remember it.

as far as 50 bmg rifles being prohibited, they are legal in most states but calif has banned them along with a huge assortment of other guns that remain perfectly legal in most other states.

there is a calif legal 50 caliber that is almost identical to the 50 bmg, just a little shorter.

    they're legal here in tx.

  • rob furlong set the longest sniper shot in history with this gun and he is canadian :D

  • @TheBrisk3 thats only cause they confirmed it dickhead in vietnam dudes were making shots that far except in vietnam you could not stroll through the woods a mile to confirm the shot.

  • @FloridaSnookHunter you americans just want to be on top of every thing.

  • @TheBrisk3 , not really

  • 2+km with a 30-06, but yet you couldnt stroll through the WOODS to confirm.....musta been one of those natural clear cuts where you can easily see 2500m in the Vietnam jungle

  • did you Kept in mind variable humidity and windspeed along the bullet's flight path. i bet, at that distance, you'll have to take the Coriolis effect into account.

  • @EDDIEinWAR

    WHO are you asking?

no one in the video gave a distance and there is no distance mentioned in the description so why are you concerned about the coriolis effect?

i'm amazed that a current school system has produced a student that can even spell it correctly.

just because you heard the big word doesn't mean you have to use the big word.

i seriously doubt he was shooting more than 300 yards. most idiots with 50's have no clue what they're doing.

  • @EDDIEinWAR

i ran out of space in my 1st reply.

not too many people "Kept" things in mind.

a lot of us "keep" things in mind.

like the fact that "variable humidity" is a vague phrase that you don't understand which is why you just didn't say humidity.

i guess you just don't learn that much from listening to lady gaga.

don't feel too bad, my wife likes shitty music too.

  • @tapper45 lol wut

  • @carrascojj about 28 pounds unloaded.

  • @rgvwheeler Damn thats heavy, hard to imagine a military man carrying that in the field

  • hows the recoil?

  • @xNISMOxZ not as bad as you might think. It is a 50 so its a beast but it is more like a shove instead of a hit.

  • @xNISMOxZ I've been told because of the muzzle break (similar to the Barret) it reduces the recoil a lot making it feel something like a 12ga shotgun because the rifle is actually being pulled foreward by a vacume effect created by the break.

  • bet that shell was hot hot hot

  • this gun holds the longest recorded kill right?

  • @TheHunted113 yes

  • have you ever shot a deer with that?

  • @bob22585 no. I guess you could but that thing would do a lot of damage to the meat.

  • @rgvwheeler i would shoot it in the head if it was a doe

  • @rgvwheeler shoot it from a mile

  • @rgvwheeler guess instead of deer you would have to end up making it deer ground meat

  • @harold562

    yes, deer instead of deer.

    fuckstick.

  • @bob22585 you'd shoot the deer and go after it, then you would think where did it go, "other guy"- all over the place lol

  • that weapon is not a macnillan tac 50

    you most see History channel

  • @NeoShadow617 OK first it is MCMILLAN Not Macnillan. second its MUST not most. and what does the history channel have to do with it?

  • @rgvwheeler I think he's reffering to the fact that its usually yellow in games...He's retarded you see;)

  • @NeoShadow617 it is a tac 50 there are different variations of the gun

  • Okay guys, YES WE KNOW THAT THIS RIFLE WAS USED FOR THE WORLDS LONGEST CONFIRMED SNIPER KILL.

This does not mean it is the best rifle for sniping, in fact it uses the EXACT same barrel and rounds as many other .50BMG rifles, after that NOTHING makes a difference with accuracy other than the skill of the shooter and the quality of optics you put on the sight rail. The guy had to shoot several times before he hit someone.. So stop comparing it to rifles that are essentially the same.

  • @napyuu What other rifle uses the Tac 50 barrel? and the same rounds? What other 50 bmg rifles are essentially the same. I assume you can back up what you are saying. He had to shoot several times to make a shot at a mile and a half, but he still made it. No matter how ou look at it, that is an impressive shot.

  • @rgvwheeler

The Tac50 uses essentially the same barrel as the 50cal Barrett, and fun fact ALL .50BMG rounds are the same because it is a singular type of round that several different rifles use. I am not trying to downplay the mans skill, it was indeed an extremely impressive shot, but all I am saying is that does not mean this is the best rifle in the world, contrary to what other may believe. Because as far as the rifle's control on accuracy, its very much the same as other 29 inch rifles.

  • @napyuu your right, it doesnt really matter what rifle your shooting with, its the shooter that really makes the difference, and both the 1st and 2nd longest confermed kills are from canadian snipers in afghanistan. the 3rd longest kill was a american in vietnam... now with nearly 1000 american snipers in service for every 1 canadian sniper, doesnt that say alot for canadas profesionalism in warfare

  • @101andrewj

Indeed, they must have quite extensive training for their snipers in Canada.

  • @napyuu they do.. unlike most american soldiers, the canadians have time to train.... most americans are rushed off 2 battle because they are in high demand... but the canadians have lineups of people who want 2 join.. and they can take there sweet time making sure a soldier is properly trained before sendin em 2 war

  • @napyuu Actually that is no longer the case. There are now multiple confirmed engagements that have bested Furlong’s record with a .338LM.

  • Actually as of November 2009 the longest confirmed sniper kill was set by Craig Harrison with a .338 Lapua magnum with an Arctic Warfare Magnum at 2,707 yards.

  • What is this Scope ?? thanks

  • @TURBIAK The scope is a Falcon Menace 5-25X50. It is a first focal plane scope with a mildot retical, and mil turrets. They have really good glass for the money.

  • were are yall shooting i live down in south texas 2. are yall on privite land or at a range id relly like to know i want to try out my grandpa's m24 he got while in the seal teams but there are arnt any long range ranges that i know of

  • @navysealinsane yeah private range. Donna gun club has a 600 yd range with marine style pits. check it out.

  • @bob119911 he was using american made ammo because it carried further because the canadian made shit was junk

    american made :)

  • @x1hitwunderx american has a higher concentration in gun powder, Canadian ammo is great because it has lower recoil, and is suppressed. learn to read facts kid.

  • This is the gun that hold the current world record for the longest distance kill

  • this is the rifle used to make the worlds farthest kill shot by Rob Furlong... beats the Barrett in accuracy... one of the best long range rifles around. hands down.

  • @Bluesypunkrocker1

Intervention is supposed to be accurate long distance as well. Not a 50 cal, a 408, but can shoot accurately over 2,400 meters

  • @BluntToy i know.. but when speaking of 50's the TAC is better than the berrett in alot of areas... i wont bring up the fact that Furlong wouldnt have made the shot without american .50 rounds... but anyway.. lol

  • The Tac 50 shoots .50 BMG right?

  • @Nakedrummer94 you got it

  • i love the sound it sound like a silent sneeze

but i think they woud make it better

make a system out it whit the same range and acuraty whit a balistic computer

so it woud be like a cheytac m200 firing standard nato rounds

that woud make it cheaper but still efective

btw i seriously hope so much this gun will not be in fucking cod or something like that

this is like my free zone

  • way to much gun for me, I'll stick with my 30.06 lol.

  • womp!

    i love the silent sound

  • its not that loud only like a grenade blowing up in your face

  • Holy shit that thing is deadly! No wonder it's the Sniper Rifle that holds the record for the longest kill.

  • by a canadian :)

  • Hell yeah! Canadian Snipers FTW.

  • @TeHRuNeScApEGuY100

    YEAAAAAAAAAA BOIIIIII

  • @TeHRuNeScApEGuY100 Using American ammo. :D

  • Lol thanks for the help, America :)

  • we hold the 1 and 2 best sniper records! and lol its really not that loud

  • @bob119911 the mcmillan tac 50 has one of the longest ranges i have seen it shot at just over a mile and three quarters and a hit on a 3' by 3' target so i mean the gun is great the spotting scope and computer that costs like 5 grand ontop of the 10-15 grand for the gun id say this gun is one of the best 50 cal snipers in the world the time they put into it is extraordinary.

  • @TeHRuNeScApEGuY100 Whoa! im watching a documentary about this at this very moment and they JUST SAID the longest kill thing! 0_o

  • Haha creepy coincidense maybe?

  • I love that explosive sound from that gun

  • get some world record holder

  • at least i woud if i coud aford them:)

  • the modern cheytac m200 weighs more has maybe a better system than this rifle and they have the same range and this rifle fires standard bullets

i prefer this above the cheytac m200 (personaly)

  • Yup ... you got that right off of google loll

  • Same gun that Dan uses in, Patriots: a novel of survival in the coming collapse.!!!!

  • Aaron Perry set the record before Rob. Ron now holds the record. Rob Furlong and Aaron Perry are both Canadian.

  • love the sound of a tac-50......

ps. how much does it cost??

    (in US dollars)

  • just the rifle 8000+

    the rifle package 10000+

  • thanks for the info ;)

  • the tac 50 holds the reacord for the longest comfirmed kill ever made a mile and a half a way

  • @MrSkills007 yes it does, in the moutains of afghanistain by a canadian.

  • Umm .. it wasnt in moutains i think the guys who made this shot is Rob Furlong

  • @Cortake it was in he moutains

  • It was a 2430 Meter kill made by Canadian Sniper Rob Furlong using the Tac-50 sniper rifle during Operation Anaconda in the mountains of Afghanistan.

  • @Cortake sertanly it was in the mountains

there is something about it here on youtube

  • Barret is best

  • So how do you like your Barret? shoot pretty good? I believe the military has down graded them to anti vehicle guns because the were not satisfactory in the accuracy department for sniper rifles.

  • @rgvwheeler

I agree with you. There are a lot better snipers rifles than the Barret, the only pro about it is because it's a semi-auto. Also, it has a slightly faster muzzle velocity, but at those speeds it doesn't make a difference. Same reason why a lot of snipers perfer the m24 over other semi-auto rifles. Well, besides for the m110.

  • @shs59 barrett whit 2 t's

  • @dontmakemeMAD1990 The letters I and T precede the letter H in the word "WITH"

  • @shs59 dutch whit a h as last word

this word means i probably(and in my case it is )never learned english:)

  • @shs59 "clap clap"

    amazing

  • let him be, hes probably just a kid that knew the rifle for mw2

  • @rgvwheeler theair probably only plays video games, my uncle has a mcmillan

  • @hioncheesenips UMM what?

  • @rgvwheeler woah sorry i changed tabs. That guy probably only plays video games and bases that it must be the best rifle. and my uncle has a Mcmillan too

  • @rgvwheeler they did? cause the accuracy for a barrett is precise

  • @lovehatefu : yes precise enought to hit the broad side of an engine block. This rifle is MOA accurate.

  • @rgvwheeler i know mcmillians are if i had a choice for a sniper rifle id pick this cause the accuracy over the barrett but i never knew they did that now for the barrett

  • @lovehatefu Not really!!

  • @TheAirskyair hahahaaaathen spell atleast the name right

and witch fucking model do you mean

    barrett rec7?:)

  • Barrett M107 .50 Caliber this one asshole and i am not english so fuck off

  • @TheAirskyair sorry for that then

    iam dutch :)

but iam glad you know there is more then one model

i thaught you were somme to-much cod fan

  • Ik speel geen CODseries

  • @TheAirskyair fantastic:)

    love it

  • Holy crap. that looks like the most powerful sniper ever. I just saw a show on snipers and this was one, a sniper hits a Taliban from 1.5 miles away. Brutal.

  • naw M82 better

  • @WhitepwrItalian1 you mean the m82a1 right?

because the m82 is the name of old gun

  • @WhitepwrItalian1 m82a1

the barrett m82 is the first old model

  • lol you mean that sniper one on discovery?

  • isnt this more accurate then the barret? i think so by like 500 meters

  • :14, lemme just pick my nose real quick

  • This weapon is superior to the m82, in the sence that it can make a killshot at 2000 metres. (1800 for m82)

The m82 would clearly be better if the tac-50 shooter was in the m82 sniper range.

The extra range the tac-50 has on the m82 is because tac-50 uses manuel operated rotary bolt, m82 uses recoil operated rotary bolt.

  • coud you use on this thing BORS

(barrett optical range system) for better range?

  • actually the longest shot was about 2,657 yards.

  • how much did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking

  • @lespaulplayer1234512 -- Stock from the company is $7,599. then the package is $9,999

  • wow a little out of my price range hahaha

  • @lespaulplayer1234512 yea same with me lol check there website, its pretty cool if your into precision weapons

  • which website and heck ya i am lol

  • a lot

  • how good are the chey tac and mcmillan compared tho eachother?

  • such a beast, that's the same weapon that former Canadian Forces sniper, Cpl. Rob Furlong used for the 2430m record breaking sniper kill in Afghanistan. good looking weapon.

  • man Carlos Hathcock made a 2200 meter shot in Nam and about 40 years later, a Canadian beat that record by 200 meters. Amazing shots. ONE SHOT ONE KILL

  • lol im watching that on history channel right now

  • @phreezerburne haha i was too, that brittish guy had an amazing shot 1.5 miles man

  • @robertrylko it was actully canaidian

  • @robertrylko it was a newfoundlander and the shot was 2,657 yards, or 1.51 miles

  • ah i didnt know he was from there but still thats amazing
