  • I m don't believe in religion but i do believe in God.....I strongly live by the Phrase GOD is one

Religion is nothing it just Divides and creates WAR among People. I hope religion becomes History

  • religious people believe they invented morality cause throughout history they have been the protectors of it.even now they are against abortion

  • They sound more like agnostic then atheist

  • I have seen a ghost so there is a supernatural which atheist say does not exist

  • "it falls under the 'no shit!' umbrella" hahahahhaa

  • " Philosophy is questions that may never be answered, Religion is answers that may never be questioned" I'll be a philosopher every day of the week, thank you!

  • I can just imagine a dog and 2 other guys sitting around a table lol

  • @paularenas26 In the Spiderman comics, a guy got bit by a radioactive spider and gets superpowers, does that mean it's true?

  • is happy that there are at least 21 dislikes.. i mean, who would like such a video as this? its not right.. i believe in God and i know there are millions of people who dont but then there are people like the 42 or 43 of us who love God with all our hearts.. u have ur beliefs and we have ours, and i respect that..

    take care:)

  • @ajfroaolcom you say you're for science but when you ask did something "just "pop" into existence?" that makes it hard for me to believe you. Scientist research/investigate to figure out what's going on, why/how the universe and the things within it work the way they do, but theist (and sometimes deist) just say GOD DID IT! and seem uninterested in investigating his existence, how he "began" to exist, how he acquired his abilities, and they often get offended when asked these questions.

  • @ajfroaolcom why do you assume it was "created" and why did you ask "who"? You've already made up your mind on what the answer should be, so why are you asking these questions?

  • @DonMezzo Okay then where did everything come from? (is that generic enough?) did the complexities of the human anatomy just "pop" into existence? I'm all for science and questioning our existence, but eventually you must come to the realization that there are things that we can't explain... this does not mean that these things do not exist. Just because people corrupt and abuse religion for their own personal gain, that doesn't mean that there is nothing out there bigger than we are.

  • "Morality is hardwired in nature"??? Who created "nature"? How did it all start? How was the first living thing made and who made it?? Big Bang? That's horse shit!

  • @ajfroaolcom

we dont know how everthing started. or what was before the big bang. but label with god or anything witch is no supported by evendince is just stupid. there are theory for it but "science" does not state it as truth because they have no evendince,

lets say you don't know how flowers bloom. (even if you do just pretend)

would it be better to say the fairy make to flowers bloom or i don't know?

  • Adam hits the nail on the head -- religious people can't deal with the strong possibility that there is nothing after death.

Make the most of your life, people. Love your family and friends while they are still around.

  • @sidearmsalpha im fine with nothing after death Ive lived life to the fullest and if I die nothing happens if Im right then I go to live with God

  • @DeJay14 That's cool. You are keeping an open mind. Personally, if there was tangible, scientific proof that a Supreme Being exists, I would be willing to believe that such a being exists, but that doesn't mean I'm going to worship this being, especially when things are so f'ed up on this planet. I'm more inclined to believe that a God created the seeds of life on this planet and simply walked away. Early man just needed something to rationalize our existence and came up with stories.

  • I love Seth :)

  • >brian and death being liberal douches

  • @GRAVITYMAN1100 This country was created mostly by deists and free thinkers, with the unofficial motto being "e pluribus unum" rather than "in God we trust" which came much, much later. This country was always (meant to be) secular, according to the Founding Fathers, who wanted to create a religiously tolerant country.

By the way, you probably never heard of a deist before, so let me help you out: deists believe that God created the universe and let it work on its own without intervention.

  • @n5d25d90 what you say is very true. My personal opinion people just need to get along and accept there are people wioth different belifs in this country, and it is extrememly improbable 270 mill people are going to have all the same belief systems. the idea is ludicrous. We are all different backgrounds, experiences, and religions that shape who we are. I don't think i would want it any other wahy. i like uniqueness

  • Comment removed

  • Very few religious people force their views on others. Im friends with many religious people who don't even mention god. I also am friends with many atheists who don't bring up the subject. we get along fine and just don't discuss it. No one needs to judge others.

  • @TheTrickster14 and that's how the world should be...i´m catholic and like your religious friends i don´t speak about the subject with everybody and judging people either !... Good for your religious and atheistis friends.!

  • Only a minority of religious people force their views on others. I know tons of religious people who don't even talk about god to others. Im also friends with many athiests who don't bring up the subject. We all get along fine and no beliefs are discussed.

  • @TheTrickster14 Which one are you then?

  • @TheTrickster14

it depends where you live in middle easy you can get killed for leaving your religion in the usa alot of parents freak out when there child tells them they don't belive in god. i hear alot alot alot of those story's. though i live in europe i know a couple of people who belive in a god most of them in a non personal god. but they once are christians do not force there religion.

    i respect all people's belives

but i hate the the old testament, its sickennis me

  • Why can't we all keep an open mind and just accept that everyone is entitled to their own opinion? You needn't try to convince people that your belief is right. I believe in god and you don't, and there's nothing wrong with that. It doesn't make me stupid or smart it's just the way it is.

  • @TheTrickster14

Few problems there- if you believe in God, you're not really keeping an open mind because humans always make facts fit their current beliefs (rather than admitting when they're contradictory). Secondly, atheists in the modern world rarely force their beliefs on others, they just argue about it. Religions however- vote against gay marriage, stem cell research, force their belief on their kids.....

  • @GodTheHypothesis well, i beg to differ. If you have atheist parents most likely you may unwittingly or wittingly pass on those beliefs onto your children. it would be naive to think your beliefs or lack of them are not transeferred on to children. eg ig you had racist parents ( sadly the children will probably will adopt those views). If you have jewish parent will influence children belief, protestant , muslim ect

  • @casablanca4381

I don't know a single atheist, and I live in europe so I know quite a few, who actually teaches their kids "atheism"- which I don't think is really something you could "teach". If just not telling your kids anything about the subject leads to atheism- well then that's the way it should be. There's a difference between a child happenening to follow their parents beliefs and the parents forcing it upon them when they're too young to know better.

  • @GodTheHypothesis i have yet to meet one parent who hasn't subtly or directly force certain ideas on children at a young age.eg ( religion aside for amoment0 my dad always tought me to be polite and respectful of others.it was his ideas of being a repectable huiman beign... I carry on those ideas as do my siblings from chilhood, and will probably insist on that behavior in my own... as i said it's naive to think that a parent doesn't at least honestly acknowledge this

  • @casablanca4381

Well I acknowledged that parents beliefs affect their kids. My parents are religious but were very good when I was a child- and realised that they shouldn't force it on me. I wasn't forced to go to church and whenever I asked any religious based questions they were very careful to mention that this was "just what we believe". That's very rare with most religions. Most religious parents just teach their kids it as if it was a fact. It's a huge difference.

  • @GodTheHypothesis ok you made a very good point here in giving me an example about forcing beliefs on kidsfrom your family background( notice i was careful to in asserting everyone follows their prents belifs) a which is obviously not true,.

as very for very religious, I don't know what country you are from... but in the USA I haven't encountered this too much as a problem in the midwest... maybe a handful of baptist in midwest where i live. i'm assuming it may be

  • @casablanca4381

Yep, well I'm from england where I think the current figures show that only 7% of the population go to church. And that doesn't mean that the other 93% are all akin to Dawkins and Hitchens- most people just aren't very interested in religion and it isn't really talked about in public. Our politicians don't usually dare mention if they're religious or not as it's seen as a bit weird. Quite a different situation to yours!

  • @GodTheHypothesis I have hear that in europe where there is a state religion that is oftren the case. People don't attend church or just indifferent. I noticed this when i went to denmark a couple years ago. I noticed it maybe a little when I was england ( at age 14) but I think i was too preoccupied with touring London, castles, westminster abbey and piccadilly circus and natural history meusem to notice at the time

  • @GodTheHypothesis in this country most people in certain areas of the country will not try to convert you and try to coexist with people of different religions, atheist, or agnostic....The problem is when you get down to the southern states called the bible belt, you come across bible thumping baptists that take the bible literally word for word

  • @GodTheHypothesis as for our politicianstheir religion tends to be a bigger deal than in european countries. why you might ask?well 80% (estimate) of this country are of protestant chistian based denomination. A lot of the protestants want someobody with their worldview and belifs representing them in office. they tend to vote chistian protestant candidates in

  • @casablanca4381

Well yes but the problem with creating a political climate where the candidate knows they have to be a christian- is that people are just gonna lie about it to get in, which really isn't a good start. Personally I don't think Obama is very religious at all. And yes we have jehovah's witnesses, they're very weird and people tend not to answer the door to them!

  • @GodTheHypothesis I agree they do lie.Sadly the truth is politicians will continue to lie indefinitely to get voted end or meet an agenda.Honestly in politics, i don't think you can ever really know who or what to trust. As for Obama , I agree with you there too he's not particularly religious.

I didn't mena to ask a stupid question about Jw. I ask because i didn't know what other countries dealt with them. Most people don't answer the door for them here. They are "persistent"

  • @GodTheHypothesis They tend to make themselves nuisance and sometimes cause legal /court cases based on violation on civil rights. what Im talking about there was an issue (where I live) A family of jw wanted to sue millions of dollars because theri child was learning militery history! I understand they cam't join it because it is forbidden... but they are only reading about it. I thought it was ridiculous personally

  • @GodTheHypothesis Now... me personallyi'd vote for a candidate who had the most cedentials and experience to handle large issues than on religion and am not just saying that

  • @GodTheHypothesis ok this is a little off the topic but does england have jehovah's witnesses? i ask because they are another rather persistent religiois group i've encountered They sends people door to door to evangelize to you(similar to mormons).

  • @GodTheHypothesis bit different in your country

  • @GodTheHypothesis I stand by my point parental beliefs have a large impact on their offspring whether they want to henestly admit it or not

  • @GodTheHypothesis i think a lot of people underestimate kids.... kids are very observant of messages and beliefs their parents impart on thme... example a jewish kid in a predominately christian neigborhood id going to ask parents why they don't have christmas.. parents are going to explain right.? or an a child of an atheist parents are most likely might ask parents why a lot of their friends go to church and they dont..parents are going to explain arent they?

  • @GodTheHypothesis my point is you do teacgh your kids like everyone else your beliefs, wheather you want to honeslty admit that or not is up to you and anyone who denies we don't give our kids ideas

  • @GodTheHypothesis you can teach your kids there is no god just as their is one... you can say to your son or daughter.... there is no god for this this this and that reason when they are young ... the same as parents can tell their kids their is one. but ultimatley they will make their own choice as teen or adult, but most likely it will be the choice the parent chose

  • @GodTheHypothesis if you are or become a parent one day. I would bet good money they will share your beliefs as adults and teen, because of either directly saying there is no god or subtly you implant these idea, just like a person in a theistic family probably had theistic parents

  • @TheTrickster14

Your private belief in god is fine, albeit unfounded and ridiculous. It is equivalent to believing in Santa Claus. But that's still okay, by itself. The real problem comes when preachers spread their nonsense to all corners possible. When they try to lobby govt to get religious ideologies enforced in society, or subjugate gays and so on due to primitive religious prejudices, or oppress scientific advancements, etc.

You're entitled to an opinion, not respect.

  • Brilliant! Absolutely fucking brilliant!

  • Seth got spooked and stuttery at the end. He fears the bogey man when he says that shit.

  • @Paularenas..........shut up with that garbage. Take ure bible and ure imaginary beliefs and shove up ure ass. Im done with bein nice to people like u who think ure superior in intillect to assume ure actually educating us on spirituality, when in fact.....its all BULLSHIT!

  • @omarvelous2010 shut up you Jew. All you Jews do is hoard money. Hitler has exposed you Jews. Therefore, I will not hear another word from you Jews. Silence, Jew! You'll get what you deserve. I'm done tolerating you. Society has had enough of your kind....

  • @Floodlezoot

Dude, next time just don't reply yeah- stop making youtube full of hate.

  • @GodTheHypothesis I see you are familiar with my work.

  • You could ask God for eternal forgiveness through applying the death and resurrection of Jesus to your life within the quietness of your bedroom tonight. This is the most important decision that you will ever make. “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. - Romans 10:9-10

  • @paularenas26 What makes you think ANY of your words can make anyone believe in a sky fairy....you're really kidding yourself here. Just keep it to yourself, no one is interested.

  • @watersigns01 Whatever you decide to do with this is up to you. However, remember the gospel message was clearly stated to you and you will be held accountable. For it is written, “AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME,

AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL [e]GIVE PRAISE TO GOD.” 12 So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God. (Romans 14:11-12)

  • @paularenas26

Your empty quoting of that hypocritical tome doesn't bring me any closer to God then a Muslim quoting the Koran would.

  • Our God is an awesome God he reigns!

from heaven above with wisdom, power and love!

our God is an awesome GOD!!!

yes yes he truely is!:) GOD IS GREAT!!!:))

  • @ActressCari90 Well aren't you proud of yourself, pat yourself on the back.

  • @JeffreyRegistre please believe me!! i know you wont even if i mention it so whats the point:(

  • what a stupid generalization they are making

  • @pillowvolta1 technically everything is a generalization

  • @Dpesh7 Stop generalizing, geeze :P

  • Mammoth rape FTW

  • Notions of "God" are human created, in response to the massive trauma of death. Mortality frightens us as a species. Our minds are the most powerful things on earth. We created "God", not the other way around. I mean, Adam says in this interview, "What? All of you are right?" How can there be one God in this culture and many, many gods in other cultures? All of these myths are stories. Human created stories. The Jesus myth comes from Prometheus which comes from Egyptian lore. It's all construct.

  • @cardboardbass really? I Come from a religious family.

  • It just is. So it goes.

  • "Where did God come from? If we decide that this is an unanswerable question, why not save a step and say the origin of the universe is an unanswerable question? Or, if we say that God always existed, why not save a step and say the universe always existed? That there's no need for a creation, it was always here."

    - Carl Sagan

  • As a Christian, I appreciate the honesty in this conversation.

  • @paw965 Your still a christian after listening to this?

  • @paw965 Oh, jesus.

  • @paw965 - why are you still a Christian then?

  • @freakystyley4000 Neither of these guys is all that smart, nor did they provide any compelling evidence to support a purely materialistic view of the universe. The evidence of science leads me to believe in an intelligence beyond nature. Evidence from history leads me to believe that Jesus is who He said He is. I'm happy to discuss further, but this forum isn't conducive to this type of complex conversation.

  • @paw965 - There is not one scientific hypothesis, theory or principal that in ANY way supports an intelligence beyond nature.

Aw, and how cute that you attribute such a delusion to the Judeo Christian messianic religion and it's protagonist, the Zombie Jew.

Why not Mercury? Or Mithras? Horus? Zoroaster? Krishna?

Could it be with something to do with where you were born? And hence, your upbringing? (a.k.a. religious childhood indoctrination)

Read your bible. We need more Atheists.

  • @freakystyley4000 DNA is an information-based system that determines the structure and function of the organism. All observation indicates that information like this only comes from an intelligent source. Materialism alone cannot account for the formation DNA. Thus whatever this intelligence was, it most likely transcended nature and nature's laws.

  • @paw965 - and this relates to Jesus of Nazareth and NOT to Krishna / Horus / Mithras / Zoroaster HOW?

  • @freakystyley4000 Just laying a foundation for the reasonableness of a belief in God. Re: Jesus, I compare the NT writings about Him to all those you mention and others. The amount of detail they contain about His life suggests He was in fact a historical person who claimed to be God and was subjected to a public execution. Furthermore, his followers claimed to have seen him risen from the dead. They were martyred without recanting so whatever they saw, they were firmly convinced it was true.

  • @paw965 - and yet I'm sure you've never given equal time to the claims made by the prophets, messiahs and demi-gods of other religions? The claims for Jesus are no better than the claims of the adherants of Zoroaster, Mohammad or Krishna.

    Sorry, but no sale.

  • @freakystyley4000 not selling anything, just answering your questions. Mohammad never claimed to be God, nor did he rise from the dead. Jesus had eyewitnesses to His resurrection, who wrote just a few years after the events. All the other philosophies (atheism included) have the same message: man is capable of saving himself (or doesn't need to be saved at all). Jesus said mankind is dead in sin and must rely on God's grace. He stands in stark contrast to all the others.

  • @paw965 - Atheism is not a philosophy. Nor does it have tennants, dogmas, scriptures, rituals, clergy, hierachies... and finally; it does not meet the criteria to be labelled a religion.

And wow... you could wave that flag for Jesus any harder if you tried could you?

Do you not think that the adherants of other religions are equally as zealous regarding their gods and avatars?

No Mohammad never said he was god, but unlike Jesus Christ, Mohammad never broke the First Commandment.

  • @freakystyley4000 Atheists hold a set of beliefs about the cosmos that they cannot prove--if you don't recognize this, you've been brainwashed.

And yes, I'm a Christian... who else's flag should I be waving?

Of course other religions have their followers. They could be wrong just as I could. Or you. I just happen to believe I'm right. Just as they do and you.

And Jesus would only have broken the 1st commandment if He wasn't God. His resurrection proved that He was. Just as He claimed He was.

  • @paw965 - When you state that you could be wrong and then in the very next sentence state that you believe you are right, then you are not worthy of my time debating, especially on Youtube. This conversation is over.

  • @freakystyley4000 It's called being open-minded. You should try it. The difference between you and I is the severity of the consequences of being wrong.

  • @paw965 - then you and I will skip hand-in-hand to Valhallah. I'll even shout the first round of mead.

  • @freakystyley4000 Don't argue with him. He just flat out said that Atheists have no proof... El. Oh. E.

  • @AetherSurreal - I don't argue with theists because in order to argue correctly you need to have some relevent points which contradict the skeptic's. So far; none.

  • i could listen to this all day

  • "There has to be something"... No. Is the short answer to that.

Monkey and typewriters you know, try applying that to the universe instead of limiting it to a dead comedian.

  • Everything that these two guys says is true. Seth MacFarlane can get on my nerves, because he loves himself some Seth MacFarlane, but he definitely has his head on straight.

  • Has anyone who's posted on here in support of the god idea explained where their god might have come from? After all, if there were a being capable of creating a Universe, it must be, by definition, a complex entity capable of thought and must itself have an origin.

  • @mrdotlogic Dawkins asks the same question. But he assumes God is bound by natural laws. God exists outside of the physical universe and so is not necessarily subject to the law of cause and effect. He could very well be eternal. Without beginning or end.

  • As an atheist that grew up with God... I love, love, Love this! Give people like us this moment where we are allowed to be different. Its scary as hell to feel this way and you dont pick this cause you want to... This is amazing!

  • People shouldn't do horrible things to other people because it does not help in perpetuating humanity.

Why the hell do we need religion for such a simple cause-effect relationship?

  • Seth's brain is going faster than his mouth can. lol!

  • Interesting to hear all perspectives. Good video.

  • @slapinskiProductions Thing aren't like God.God always existed, before the big bang and history and time.Things like the universe can't exist except if someone creates it.There's your answer.Btw,don't insult people.

  • I love it when athletes thank god for helping them win a championship game. Because if there were an extra-planar being of infinite power, able to shape entire universes with a single thought, obviously he would waste his time picking the winner of a meaningless sporting event on a primitive dirtball inhabited by psychotic apes.

  • @GodzillaX8 I happen to have it on good authority that the flying spaghetti monster is extremely vested in ping pong competitions

  • @slapinskiProductions This question has been asked a lot in my school and this is the answer.God is the first and the last and the maker and the finisher. He was there before the beginning of everything and anything,he is there after everything and anything.

  • @spidermangreatestfan Oh and way to completely ignore the question regarding how you would test your children

  • @youbetzler God's way of testing is way different. Anyways I'd treat my children very good.

  • @spidermangreatestfan So you would treat your children differently then god because if you treated your children the way god treats us you would be considered a monster

  • @youbetzler "Facepalm" you didn't get it do you?Read the Qur'an and you'll understand what I mean.

  • @spidermangreatestfan i don't need to reed to quran i've read the bible and snippets of the quran it's all the same gibberish. Jesus this moses that mohammed hit me with a wiffle ball bat. Although i did like the part in the quran where it claims fresh water and salt water don't mix.

  • @youbetzler Weird, you should understand what I mean about the test part.Well I have to tell you is YOU can't know for sure if he's real or not, what if he's real and you didn't believe in him? What you'll do?I myself am not sure if he's real or not but I just keep in my religion so if he's real I don't go to hell for not believing in him.

  • @spidermangreatestfan If he would send someone to suffer in eternal agony simply for not believing insane illogical stories based on hearsay, he's a deranged psychotic not worthy of my worship. I'd burn in hell for a thousand eternities before I'd kneel before an egotistical controlling maniac like that.

  • @GodzillaX8 Plus if you only pretend to believe just so you don't get to hell an all powerful god will see right through that. You can't make yourself believe something you don't believe, you can pretend you do and fool other people but if there is a god you can't fool it. and like godzilla said, if god sends good honest people to eternal torture purely because they don't believe a crazy ass illogical story written by some bronze aged goat herders then he is a psycho path

  • @spidermangreatestfan what if he is real and he only lets atheists into heaven and everyone else goes to hell, what if he's real and only short people go to heaven and everyone else goes to hell, what if it's a different god than yours and you end up going to hell for following the wrong religion. There are a billion outcomes, don't be so naive using pascals wager as if it's either your god or no god. Plus in a lot of faiths non believers get a second chance, idolaters however do not

  • @youbetzler Well since I'm following the last religion(Islam) it never says that no one will go to hell for being short or tall or whatever, you only go to hell if you don't believe in god and don't follow his orders. And if it's a different god and if I was following the wrong religion,he'll forgive me because I didn't know.I have always thought about who created god,I thought about it for hours when I was 4 and I still do,I mean I keep thinking he's been there all along?I think when exactly?

  • @spidermangreatestfan Islam is not the last religion. Mormonism came later, so did scientology, among many others.

And from what i understand of almost all monotheistic religions is that the god does not forgive the sin of idolatry, and i'm pretty sure islam has a clause that says non believers will be given a chance at redemption upon judgement i might be wrong but i do know quite a few religions have that clause. So if you want to go all pascalls wager on me i have a better shot than you

  • @youbetzler Yeah,in Islam God forgives any one who didn't know about something he's supposed to know.Nope, there was no religion after Islam,Mohammed was the last prophet so no,it's impossible for people to believe a religion without a prophet to guide them.

  • @spidermangreatestfan joseph smith was the mormon prophet and he lived 200 years ago. L.Ron Hubbard was the scientology prophet and he died 25 years ago. Bobby henderson is the prophet for Church of the flying spaghetti monster and he's 30 years old. And it's not impossible for people to believe a religion without a prophet. Many religions believe they have direct relationships with their gods.

  • @youbetzler I'll believe you due to the fact that you know more than me.

  • @spidermangreatestfan Don't do that. Look it up yourself on Wikipedia it takes 5 minutes. If you just believe everything people tell you, that's how you end up believing in hokey religions and doing things that are against your character and make your life less enjoyable.

  • @youbetzler I don't believe everyone,my life is is enjoyable,my religion isn't doing anything wrong against me.

  • @spidermangreatestfan not true it misleads you. It hinders science and growth of thought, it doesn't allow you to think freely. And it teaches a whole lot of stuff that is fundamentally flawed and even more stuff that is complete lies.

All Religion was formed as a tool of control, notice how there is always someone at the top making plenty of money or getting plenty of reward for the devotion of the followers. It is a play on peoples emotions to trick them into servitude

  • @youbetzler No it does not.Islam allows me to think about anything freely,it never disallows you to think about complicated things.Nothing in religion is lies, and if you say how is that if three books of religion are different? The answer is simple, those three books(Quran,Goshpel,Torah) have came out in a different time,God sent an angel to Prophets and that Angel tells those Prophets what to type, the thing he tells them to type were commanded to him to say by God,I'll send another comment.

  • @youbetzler My second comment is here. But a certain person took the real Torah, thew it away, and then made a new one and he told people it's the same book and has the same things,in short he distorted the Torah.Same thing happened to the bible.Religion was formed by God so he can see who will follow him to send him to heaven and who will disobey him to send him to hell.

  • @spidermangreatestfan And it's good that you ask those questions. Asking questions is how you find answers, not accepting what people tell you unconditionally. A lot of religions look down upon asking these sorts of questions, and it's because they know that these questions lead to non belief, because they can't answer these questions. If it's ok for god to have always existed why isn't it ok for the universe to have always existed? if the universe needs a creator then so does the creator

  • @youbetzler Maybe because he's the creator? The last question that you said is very hard to answer,I have always tried to imagine when exactly was here there all along? All I can tell you is the answer of my teachers,God is there all the time, before everything and anything,He's the creator, the finisher.Which means God has been there all along.

  • @Glovefullavasoline Well, i can agree with that. I think you just converted me to Rogerism.

  • @Glovefullavasoline

my point flew over your head. Dont be over analytical. All im saying is that if god is as all powerful as people say he is, then he is too "big" for just one religion. Agreed?

  • lol Brian and Adam Carolla

  • Comment removed

  • No matter how hard I look at the picture all I envision is Brian calling into Loveline.

  • Seth forgot to mention that he is now stalked by death. He now looks for signs, in order to continue living. Maybe he killed someone and traded spaces with them.

  • Funny how the videos about how to shut up an atheist or why atheist are stupid have blocked the ability to comment or even dislike. i clicked on one to see what it was about and then kept clicking on more and tried to find one I could either comment or dislike but after about 30 or so I couldn't find one (why is that) and the last one I went to the page of the person who posted it and he had over 700 followers. Almost 2012 and yet they still believe in fairy tales

  • @Wootmbp Won't let me edit my own comment for some reason, but I want to edit part of my statement.

"Lastly, Christianity has caused the most death compared to any religious group in the world."

That's the edit I wanted made.

  • @yesman608 I should have rephrased the "grow up" part. I've seen people in their 40's with a solid job, family, and have a decent life. Yet, they still act like children. Age doesn't equal maturity. I also said that I was sick of these religious pricks. I never said you were a religious prick. Unless you try to preach your beliefs to me. That makes you a religious prick.

Lastly, Christianity is the reason for the most death in the world. That is fact and go research it if you doubt me.

  • I forgot about this email until I got emails on my phone about it.

@yesman608 The bible could have been written by anyone. A man looking for power because he knew that people were afraid of death, a man who needed to comfort himself and others because they knew death was inevitable, or was written about the son of "god" which doesn't contain any fact whatsoever. I feel the the first two options are the most valid options.

  • Funny hearing Seth say this now because in an interview he did many years ago he stated that he grew up in a Catholic backround but still believed in God as an older adult. Seems the status quo of Hollywood changed his mind over the years. Being religious just because, and actually knowing Christ for one's self like a close friend are two different things. Thats why religion frustrates people and turns them away...its empty. True faith between God and people by choice in Christ is whats real.

  • It falls under the "no shit umbrella" Yea.. I feel sorry for people who need a god to not kill me or rape my kids. But still, I'm tryin' to fly to the moon not into a building.

  • seht macfarlene is a jewish athiest?

  • Adam Carolla was raised fucking Jewish. Why does any and every conversation about religion go straight to Christianity?

  • @apocalypse1280 probably because most people in the west are Christians. trying to target the bigger group of people

  • Actually if I was religious I think the fact that God wanting take away my child from me would be far more devastating to me personally then my child dying from some other reason. I would simply struggle with the why (similar to the example given in this clip from the 911 plane). Thankfully and hopefully I will never have that problem.

  • I love listening to people that believe in the same things as me. An old man in the sky who gets mad at you when you jerk off and marry a guy has no credibility in my life whatsoever. If you believe in that shit that's your agenda and you can choose to walk around as a zombified idiot or you can use your brain and think for yourself ie Atheism

  • I truly respect, admire, and fear the passive aggressive heroism of athiests. When looking for answers I need go no further than their opinion.

  • Jesus dies for our sins? Wtf? Praying to Jesus wont make your life any easier. Karma is karma, what goes around comes around. If I steal, and pray to Jesus, my sin will never be forgotten... Just like the bible says, "We reap what we sow".

  • @freedfighter96 What goes around comes around? That's like saying a giant seed rumor starts as soon as you do something bad and it grows and circulates till it just meets you again at one point. How the hell is that logical at all? I mean in all honesty that's not so simple.

  • have you ever noticed that rich famous people that have large influence (non-politicans) are usually have.

  • Religion is the main issue and problem of the world.....followed by greed.

  • religion and spirituality are 2 different things...i think religion is ludacrious but if ur spiritual thats good

  • @OGTheDemon I'd be curious as to your definition of spiritual

  • @l1f3l3555 my defintion of spirituality is when it seems like things come together when life is good its balance...and its rly unexplainable its like the universe is aligning just to help u...sounds weird i cant rly explain but its what sirituality is

  • @roddy35wv youre exactly right! people need to get right with God before it is too late and once they go to hell, then they will finally believe, but by that time, it will be too late which is sad:(
