@SonOfYoungwood yeah, not his best show. this was right after they returned from their long hiatus after Neil's wife and daughter died, so some of the performances you see from this era can be a little inconsistent.

i saw them in canada last summer and stood right in front of him for most of the show. he played the entire show nearly flawlessly. i can play a lot of the rush catalog, so i can tell when he's not on it...and he was really on it that night.

I was at this concert also. It was when they were just getting back into their groove after their break in the late 90's. I live near Ottawa and saw them in 2008 and it was the best large stadium show I've ever seen. Now with them sharper then ever playing outside, is going to be another record breaker for me I'm sure. Time flys but I wish it was July 13th sooner than later, but it isn't too far away fortunatley!

Geddy no longer uses actual amplifiers on stage. He uses something called "Sans-Amp" which basically let's him process his sound just as if he had an amp on stage, but it goes directly to the sound board. He didn't want his side of the stage to seem empty so he decided to put dryers on stage, just as a joke. For the R30 tour he added a snack machine as well."
