Well it's one way to reduce consumerism, is to have less money available to buy products, however all that consumerism is what provides the jobs in the first place.
All the things Tom Delay is talking about doing, reducing the size of government, reducing the debt, ect, will happen anyway. I paid $ 90 for three guilts, and $ 70 for a boar.
I should have at least 30 piglets this spring(probably more).
And IF the dollar doesn't collapse by this spring, I plan to sell 20 feeder pigs @ $30 each($600).
With this, I will buy feed for the winter.
If the collapse does happen, though, I'll be collecting gold/silver per pig, or barter items.
Either way, it looks o.k. for me...
