it takes a strong woman to deal with a military man and life. Ive met some great women through the years and I support a woman who will stand by the man and honor him while hes gone.
Being a former military man who refrained from marriage while serving on active duty, I have nothing but respect and admiration for these women for supporting their husbands and 'soldiering on' while their men go to the Middle East. These really are the ladies that are the backbone of the military. Bless you all!!!
my husband is deploying for his 2 tour july & i'm soo not ready BUT i'm trying hard to stay positive because our 1st tour together was HELL - i've already started a list of things to get done while hes away & set up appmnts a couple days after he leaves. i'm trying to stay as busy as possible unless i'm on the phone w/ him or online with him because i know thinking is my worst enemy sometime & i don't want to allow myself to much time to think about him away from me for 1 & out there @ war....
My fiancee is deploying soon... This is my first deployment with him and I have to do the same thing. Try to keep myself busy as much as possible, cause when I think to much my mind just goes crazy...
Mrskylehayward....I'm with you 100%....themystic is just Jealous. She is probably some brand new army wife who has no idea. Especially when you have kids!!! Marine Corps wife here. Good luck :)
You all act like it's a fucking chore to love your husband and hard to keep your marriage alive.
It is called real love, if you have to WORK at your marriage, you have issues.
My husband calls me every single moment he gets and writes me every single day. When he is home he doesn't hang out with guys, he hangs out with me. We spend every waking moment together. We have been together for 4 years and our marriage is beautiful. We haven't had to WORK on it at all. I see too many people divorce
themysticknight thats good for u that u have a dandy relationship and it isnt always like that. i dont know a single army wife who isnt torn in two when their other half is gone . it is completely rude of u to say that just because no one has a relationship like urs that we have issues!
we dont act like its a chore to love our husbands we try to keep the love burning this is real life not some mo movie if u dont communicate with ur other half for a very long time and dont try to keep each other interseted then we tend to fall apart.
how dare u say if i have to work at my marriage i have issues! i love my husband and he is deployed, it is very difficult for both of us were both mentally drained we miss each other and we both have things going on in our lives that are completely different but stressful for the both of us. u are wrong and ur opinion sucks!

You are ridiculous for judging everyone.. All marriages and all relationships take work. Nobody is perfect.
