This is one of the best rock performances ever. I was sixteen then living in the NY metro area and this captures the spirit of that time better than anything I've come across yet.
@esslar1 If you noticed it looks almost the pre glam attire they wore later. I saw them in 74 with Queen as the opening act. That show was the best show I ever saw, Queen followed by Mott. Wow. but I appreciate what you are saying. They were Rocking out on this video and killing it.
@CatapultYourMom Same thing happened at a Wings concert in Duesseldorf in 1972, at the end they played a couple of 50s rock classics, unbelievably good. I was the only one in the whole concert hall dancing! How could you not dance, I even tried to get those stiff Germans to dance with me...they just stared!
New? Don't think I've ever seen this (although the related footage from the Taverne has been out before. Shortest, most unusual, and never heard this version of Walkin' before. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for adding this. I've never seen it before. I love seeing the early MTH footage.

Hear that short riff at the intro at 00:09... sounds like Hendrix Little Wing.
