Three muppets get sent overseas: Elmo's dad and uncle, and Rosita's dad. One goes home in a wheelchair (Rosita's dad), and Elmo's uncles is implied to have died in combat. Only Elmo's own dad came home unscathed, but imagine the emotional turmoil of Louie (i.e., survivor's guilt).

War is not necessary, i am sad for the children but these people want to go fighting !!! Maybe i am ignorant, how does American law work!? Is it required go to war or do military service !? I mean here in italy people go to Iraq, Africa and all the states where there is the war, they are well paid to do this job, but these people choose to do it, and when they die people say that they are Heroes !? But why !? If you want to help people of poor states you don't go to make war!

I used to watch this as a kid, and I never remembered it being this touching. I really enjoyed this because it made me cry and it also got a very important message out.

The word "horrors" isn't used once but it should have been used like 5 times. Instead of real words, everything is replaced with the word "challenge". Children who have to grow up knowing that their parents will never walk again, feel like the situation is just so challenging and they wish they could stop feeling so challenged.

I'm watching this with tears in my eyes,I hate Bush so much and I feel soooooo sad only and only 4 those children left behind without their parents, mother or father, I feel sad, no one has the right to send a father away from his family specially when DEATH is sth involved in that matter. I know exactly how all those kids whose family members went away into the military felt. My big sister had a friend who was in the military basis himself. His name was Kevin and he was a nice guy, and he was killed in a war.
