I was with TAIM since their first EP, which was brutal. I loved it. I was a little upset about their album after that, I didn't like their new sound and I wasn't sure about their new vocalist. This is 10x better than their EP. Amazing. Can't wait for their new album.

Pros: McMahon is still proving himself to be one of the best vocalists out there; his growls are still as evil and as brutal ever, and he's added extra range. The blast beats were killer, along with the solo, and the breakdowns were kept fairly interesting.

Cons: This doesn't kick nearly as much ass as their previous songs, and doesn't sound nearly as evil, and it seems like they went a little towards hardcore.

That said, it's only one song. Can't wait for the album. :)

I'm a little disappointed. Infinite Death was really create, fun, vocally exquisite deathcore if you ask me. The Adversary was a lead up that proved that they wanted to be respected as a death metal band, not just deathcore. The turned up the notch melodically and with song writing, albeit repetitive. How this new sound came about is beyond me. I mean, the lead @ 1:00 is pretty sweet and its pretty grovy...but just really generic. They have the potential (or had) to be a great death metal band.
