I am planning to buy a dual sim phone for around 3.5k, and I found that this phone would give me the most value for money cause it has wi-fi and gps and not to mention android even if its only 2.2, what are your thoughts of this phone? And could you please tell me the CPU speed, RAM capacity and also the internal memory and is this phone a resistive touch or capacitive touch? gprs setting would depend on the provider. Call the customer care and ask for the manual settings.

Hi Friends,

Don't buy spice mi 270 dual sim phone. It is waste of your cost (Rs 6000/-). Its very very slow. Always applications and phone will hang, dont work properly. Phone will switch off and stop working suddenly without proper reason. Sure you will throw out this phone after you use for 2-3 days. Incoming and outgoing calls both won't work properly even full signal is there. This is one big DABBA phone.

hi..If you are a dual simmer and you'd like to work on android, then this is the only branded dual sim android phone in the market.. Its not that bad that you cant manage..quite slow as you can see in the video..but for the price, it delivers what it should.

Can you please tell me which version of youtube application is there?Is the latest one pre installed?i actually like the 1.6.21 instead of 2.1.6.Because I have low bandwidth on 2G and 2.1.6 is not good version for low bandwidth internet.And the worst thing is you can not uninstall it when it comes pre laded.

Processing is quite slow. You can experience the lag when you install 2 or 3 programs the background. But isn't frustratingly slow, can be managed. SMS by default displays in threaded view. But you can install GoSMS software from the market which displays both folder view and threaded view. Initially I found threaded view quite annoying, but as I worked on, it was very helpful in keeping track of past conversations.

This phone is a perfect entry level Android phone. If you're into Android development, you can try all your devt. stuffs with it. Gets rooted easily.

Hmm..I can't tell if its better than Micromax or not..coz I havnt used one..but comparisons aside...this phone offers lot of features for its price tag..and the main positive being, its branded and you get a year of warranty..and it can be extended to 1.3 months if you send fill and send them back a feedback form..

I dont think it can handle games well. The UI of angry birds showed some lag at times. Din't try any other games.

The phone is good and offers many features for its price tag. It has got GPS/wifi too.

Its resistive touch and its fine. Touch is always responsive, but its shows lag when you're running too many programs at the background.

Almost all apps that I tried worked so far. Rooting is easy with Z4root.

Downloading speed depends on your internet conn speed. Mine is 4Mbps. And on an average I get around 380-400KBps.
