I don't mind the fact that Austin turned heel in 2001 cause his interactions with Vince McMahon and Kurt Angle were classic, funny and added to his character which eventually led to him starting his WHAT phrase, singing etc, but I hated that they made him turn full pussy in the process apologising and being scared of everyone when his previous character wasn't afraid of anyone or anything. Would have been cool to have kept the attitude but then follow the heel path similar to Hogan's NWO run.

As for Stone Cold, during this time he was so damn paranoid about losing the WWF title that he could not think straight. (And for the record, I know this stuff is scripted but back then you had to watch EVERY week. Now you can miss 2 months worth and STILL know whats going on).
