Kip Winger WAS Winger not just a front man. The other guys were good but he was the real creative force in the band. Love the Winger stuff and Kip's solo stuff.
I like the song...but I wonder why Kip is bitching. If I had been born looking like a Greek God, with a great musical talent, and able to live a very comfortable life using that talent, I wouldn't be writing lyrics complaining about how awful the world is....the kid dying of cancer, at 10 yrs old...feel sorry for her or him, not Kip Winger.
@careing57587 I don't think the composer discounts the notion that he's got it way better than much of the rest of the world. Poets don't always write from the 1st person perspective; in this song I don't think he's talking about himself or his life specifically. I think he's talking about people in general, and that there are problems with society that effect everyone equally, regardless of what you look like or how gifted or fortunate a person is or isn't.
