  • Go Vegan!!!!!!

  • just to note, a death for no reason is indeed murder, however, in far easten countries particularly places such as cambodia and vietnam, dont have cattle or the choice of other forms of food they do need to kill and eat animals, its for the sake of survival, the same with most animals, would you blame your dog for killing a bird? its simply his nature as a carnivore, as it is the vietnameses when they kill an animal, they have to eat every part, the meat the bone the flesh,

  • BE VEGAN <3

  • Join Compassion for World Farming, they are responsible for the soon to be ban on factory farmed caged hens, they have an ethical way of treating farm livestock.

  • I think (I repeat : I THINK) that's not a matter of who eats what, its more a factory matter and an education matter ! People can eat meat ( I'm italian and we have a strong meat culture) but consciously ! When someone eats bacon or whatever, he or she has to think that the industries feed the animals in a criminal way and make them live in little spaces all together.

Maybe its time to bring down this fucking capitalist way of producing and thinking about a good alimentation/better production !

  • @JacobOpeth That certainly is a step in the right direction. Factory farming ( the word factory and animals should be disgusting enough) damages the enviroment, abuses animals natural instincts ( the way sows are treated is revolting) and the end product which has had a lifetime of anti biotics, growth stimulants etc pumped into it is has dreadful effects on those that through ignorance choose to eat this abused unnatural product. Factory farming is a capitalist concept your right.

  • @spiderjerusalem100 TIT ! Enjoy your bowel cancer.

  • Comment removed

  • @spiderjerusalem100 i think your brain was reduced by 96% as many toxins you eat, and not even you can't read well , look these are the consequences

  • Im not vegan.. But this song is ace!

  • how is eating vegetables not just as repulsive? you're killing a living thing. and, if you're just eating a part of it, you're killing many millions of individual cells. the only reason people become vegetarian is because we feel sympathetic to animals because they're most similar to us as a species, but to eat, you must kill.

  • vegetarian's anthem. so powerful and passionate

  • I love this man. Someone who has the balls to stand against the majority because he knows he is right.

  • Love you Morrissey, and animals too. One shouldn´t eat what they love, right??

  • ANIMAL LIBERATION NOW ! ! !

  • @Leitmotivation First off, I'm terrible at taking orders. Second, you didn't say, "please."

  • Well said !

  • AND THE FLESH THAT YOU FANCIFULLY FRY IS MURDER

...do you know how these animals die????????????????????????

  • Go vegeterians !! You're saving plannet !

  • gosh, Moz has to play this song live again and soon, i cant die happy till ive heard it live..

  • It's weird but sometimes i feel guilty that i eat meat only because i love the taste of it. It's not like in my country i don't have a choice in what to eat.

  • It takes time to find replacements sort of for certain "taste nuances" such as "roasted" ...but I ve been vegetarian, almost vegan, now for more than 20 years (I grew up on a farm with animals we ate back then) and honestly I no longer miss ANYTHING with regard to "taste". I did the change slowly, over several years...I would actually throw up if I were FORCED to eat a body part of a dead animal now. Psychologically I feel much better knowing that I am INNOCENT of what people do to animals...

  • Why nobody see that is true that it have not really a sense to eat eggs and milk but no meat??? Think about!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Well, I agree that a vegan lifestyle is much better for both animals and the planet, but I think it's rather stupid of you to call vegetarians ignorant, since they at least have taken one big step, and may take another to become vegans. To call them ignorant isn't very encouraging though...

  • Sorry.. but i cant understand vegetarians (me too).. i know its difficult to not eat animalproducts.. but... what is with the chickenmens? (sorry for my english) and what is wronger... the long hard and sad living from the cows for milkindustrie and Chicken for you can eat Eggs.. or theyr death? I mean the living! Go VEGAN... Meat is a Trashproduct from the Egg and Milkidustrie, if u dont eat meat but animalproducts you are ignorant!

  • I try to explain what i mean... so.. you are vegetrarien and think no animal die for you. This is the thinking of the most vegetarians. But this is false. So, you find it ok that a chicken have a long painful life to gives you eggs to eat. And when the chicken doesnt give eggs anymore must die.. and you dont eat the meat and think "Not dieing for me" this is crazy i mean...

  • I think most vegetarians are aware that both chickens and cows are killed for their eggs and milk, if not you're right, they are being ignorant, but that's not the point. What I mean is that if you really want a world where no humans consume any animal products, you should try to encourage people to become vegans instead of judging them. You could for example make a comment about how good it is to be a vegan! Get my point?

  • I buy my eggs from an independent farmer who uses free-range practices. More healthy eggs for me and the chicken is still allowed to live a life free from a cage. In return for her eggs the farmer provides a higher living condition and protection. Mortissy once said, "Animals are like children, they look to us for protection and we should protect them." When humans and other animals work together we can all benefit and make each others' lives better without harming one another.

  • Do you know the process for when they breed new egg-laying hens? Half of the new born chicken are sent down into a meat grinder and sold as dog food. The male half, since they are of no use.

  • Ya, under factory farming conditions, however, the independent farmer i buy from cant afford the macinery neccesary for that. He keeps the males that are born for future mating

  • Are you sure about that? So about half of his poultry is male? That just sounds like a waste of resources for a farmer. Great of course, but a bit hard to believe that someone would spare the males unless it was for ideological purposes or so.. Usually they just have a couple a males to take care of the breeding.

  • Well, im fairly sure most hatched eggs are female to begin with, and he sells some males to his sons (also farmers) because they are starting their projects. Lots of small family farmers in Indiana. So i guess im priveleged to live in an area with some small scale farmers.

  • It s no "3waste" - they make food for your cats and dogs out of the male chickens thrown into the grinders alive... I saw video and images of it some time ago in Germany....

  • You forgot to mention they are thrown into the grinder fully ALIVE...even in Germany!

  • that makes me think a lot about what food I buy for my pets!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! A meat eater telling US to let live!!!! BAWHahahahah

  • That is ironic as hell lol

"Let live" meaning, "let us kill"

  • after thirty years or more of eating animal flesh, i cant do it anymore, ive given up cos the idea of the taste of cheap death in my mouth makes me sick,,there are plenty of other foods,,i do eat crustaceans though,,the whole idustrial production of animals for slaughter is a crime agaist this planet.

  • Go vegan!

  • no exist reason for eat meat, meat means kill to a innocent.

go vegetarian, go vegan, go animals freedom.

i´m proud to be vegetarian and not eat corpses

  • I cant understand you.. i know its difficult to not eat animalproducts.. but... what do you think is with the chickenmens? (sorry for my english) and what is wronger... the long hard and sad living from the cows for milkindustrie and Chicken for you can eat Eggs.. or theyr death? I mean the living! Go VEGAN... Meat is a Trashproduct from the Egg and Milkindustrie, if u dont eat meat but animalproducts you are ignorant!

  • .

I just can't understand people who eat meat, it seems the absolute height of cruelty and arrogance to consume the flesh of another creature. There are so many delicious vegan foods around today, there is just no excuse.

It's also good that so many commentators are veggie/vegan and a pleasant absence of meat eaters with their obscene and toxic defence of the indefensible.

I've never heard of "Earthlings" before but I will certainly watch it. Thanks terrapyn99.

  • thanks for that...

    suparni

  • @Redveg993 eating meat is simply a transfer of energy between trophic levels, all energy, (ie life) on earth comes from the sun, it is transferred from plants to herbivores and from herbivores to carnivores, the sun's energy is stored in plants that is transferred to herbivores that is transferred to carnivores, it's just the way life on earth functions, simply a transfer of energy

  • @Redveg993 Your brilliant. You know, those few years of vegetarianism that you go through after realizing the absolute disgusting end of what you're doing, and you can't even believe you ever did it - how can one ever translate that for another person? I wonder how I can ever smile knowing it's happening, justifiably I really, really can't. I just don't know what else to do about it.

  • I love this! Power to vegetarians!

  • I challenge all of the meat eaters who try to justify their diet to watch the documentary 'Earthlings'

It is available on You Tube, just enter "Earthlings - part 1 of 3"

  • OMG I watched Earthlings 6 months ago thinking it was going to be a Sci Fi picture. I got half-way through before breaking down realizing that it was easily true -- humans are as brutal to other humans! The switch was flipped for me and I've been a vegetarian ever since....

Been randomly watching Morrissey videos and came across this comment! All coming together...brilliant. Wow.

  • I love this, morrissey expressing a million vegetarians hearts.

  • Your a GREAT person your a LIVING LEGEND you will become VEGAN

  • Mozza loves abit of cheese you know!!

  • this is actually true, he especially likes it on toast. I've had a conversation with him about it :p

  • He may well do but I am VEGAN!

  • :) :) :)

  • Are you vegan/vegetarian suparni?

  • Hello there QP, yup I am vegan.

  • Good to know we both are :-)

  • :) hugs to you!

  • NO NO NO IT'S MURDER

  • I am vegan too also - took me a while to make the step from veggie but it was painless, honest. The milk industry supports the veal industry and so forth. At the end of the day people have a right to do what they want and believe in - but I went in to animal rights very young and a lot of my education back then was through The Smiths and Morrissey. He is the modern day Francis of Assis (apologies for spelling)

  • i love you

  • plus i think people are real scared of the word vegan it sounds to much like mr.spock ....yes, total logic , but a bit too alien. i like the term herbivore..its more cute and people know what it means. moz rules.

  • man i am such a big moza fan, have been for over 20 years , but he needs to get his ass into gear. vegetarians cause just as much abuse. calves ripped from their mothers , hens CRAMMED into pens and ALL SLAUGHTERED AFTER THEY BECOME USELESS TO HUMANEVIL.

FLY YOUR VEGAN (HERBIVORE) BANNERS AT MOZA CONCERTS MAKE HIM SEE THE NEXT STEP. so he can inspire us all.

he's a very good man , but a little bit behind in this subject , bless him. and thank him for showing us the way.

  • VIVA MOZ! (and go vegan too!) nice post. THANK YOU MORRISSEY! and btw. so many people have gone veg because of moz that I know he does make a difference. I will be at 5 moz shows in oct... maybe i bring a banner one night... oh i would be a bit shy to be waving it in his face.

  • haha, id be there with you mate!! morrissey rules!! He gave me the extra strength needed back then,so many years ago. he's a patron saint of animals.:)

  • Morrissey is already Vegan I believe.

  • nope, just vegetarian. He consumes dairy.

  • GO VEGAN (herbivore)

    MILK IS MURDER

    EGG IS MURDER
