I do have one good thing to say about hps bulbs. They are the only bulb i can microwave for 2hours and not blow up.
How ever two hours with a light bulb in a microwave = one dead microwave + 1 mot+1moc+1 fan= fun

sorry high voltage science but i agree with codes man i had mercury vapor bulbs too, I've hurd cases were the mercury leaks out, i like the changing color sodium bulbs ;)

@ubuntupokemoninc HPS and mercury vapor are two diffrent bulbs. MV is my absolute favorite type of HID lamp. i HATE high pressure sodium though!
