  • you help me bro :)

  • If the thing that keeps the connector in comes out, just take the cover out, and do you see that other nut in there? Screw it so that it's further away from you. This should make putting the other nut on the other side much easier, since you have more room.

  • haha give it a blow lmao

  • Hey, My Ibanez RG120 went out last weekend. What the problem is that ithe cord stays in the jack but it won't connect to the amp.

  • I FUCKING LOVE YOU MAN YOUR. .LIKE JESUS YOU PREFORM MIRACLES :'D

  • Hey my Jack wiggles and when I plug my input cable to the amp nothing.. Just makes this obnoxious buzzing sound

  • My jack fell out!!!!! I guess the wire broke what do I do?

  • i was searching google on how to change the guitar jack of an ibanez rg because mine is really noisy and found your video. right after you said "clean" i immidiately took a screwdriver, wrapped a cotton and put a little bit of baby boil in it and cleaned my guitar jack, and there it was.green grime all over the cotton.plugged the cable after and the noise was gone.

  • I had the same problem and I would use this exact same remedy to fix the jack. But it keeps happening over and over again, and I'm trying to figure out how the replace the jack itself.

  • hey, i have an esp ec-1000.. and whenever i plug my cable into my guitar and i move it or bump the cord it makes a LOUd popping and crackling noise. wuts causing this?

  • @oOcruxOo the wire culd be connected but no completely, after awhile it'll rip completely if you move the guitar around while is connected to an amp. happnd to me last month

  • 6,666 views! oh yeah! XD

  • just fixed mine, i had a detached wire...damn all that time i could have played a song or two...great job man!

  • my end pieace fell off now what?

  • Worked great! Thanks

  • my round socket thing fell off and i cant find it idk what to do =.=

  • go u have a grx20/grx20z?

  • If Any Can Answer please do so i have a line 6 amp, It was Working really fine until the distortion changed i turned it off and on it still kept changing distortion can anyone help me out?

  • after u take the cover off the jack the actual part that the amp plug goes into fell out its insidethe guitar i can see it but i dont kno how to get it back to get to the cover do u kno/

  • good vid...my problem is that the wire is already broken... :S

  • what would happen if the wire ripped?.

  • so each and every ibanez guitar has input jacks like this....?

this will work for a temporary fix but honestly you should replace your input jack with a brand name 1/4'' jack. its cheap and easy to do and will last a shit loads more than bending the cheap jacks on the lower model ibanez guitars.

  • thank you man for this..i have that same Ibanez guitar and the jack does the same thing. i brought it back to the store and they said they "fixed it" but it just did the same thing. so so thank you so much for the tips

  • is this the as same stratocaster???

  • thnx yu just saved me gas money , i was just about to go to the store and comlain lol

    5/5

  • happy i can help guys :)

  • Yo. same shit happen to me. Problem is that the damn wire to the input fell out. and the wire is short so its really hard to do what your doing....any suggestions? ..reply?

  • I was playing my ibanez then something thats tightens it fell inside the hole and the bolts and nuts fell off and i only had it for a month! Any explanations, my guitar is an ibanez gart30.

  • ummmm when I touch the strings it makes noise is that static or something else?

  • its alright same for mine

  • My guitar jack was loose i got tired of it becomming loose so i super glued it because i didn't have mighty putty....

  • wow you're a fucking idiot.

  • hey i have nothing to worry about anymore until the glue wares out

  • i can't believe you have that little respect for your instrument. kids like you are sickening. if you have some huge gig coming up and your tech or you have to rig something up, it's one thing, but cmon man.

  • why are you so prejudice I had to earn the guitar by practicing alot and doing good in school so it was an upgrade from a squire when I hold my rg370dxgp3 it feel way more better than the squire the squire is more of a toy than a guitar to me I maintain my guitar alot I change strings every couple of months polish the neck and clean it up so don't be saying that I have no respect for it...

  • so you practiced all that time, and tried that hard in school for your ibanez, and now you superglue the fuck out of it? cmon man. i'm not making fun of you, or talking shit about you, but if you superglue an input jack, you obviously don't have respect for your guitar.

  • well would I have the respect the guitar if i didn't fix the problem and just let the wire twist and turn and end up braking? You can't even see the glue if i didn't glue it I can only imagine what problems I would have.

  • im with you dude... superglue is seriously bad advice... he should leave it up to the pro's!!!

  • Yeah dude, im gonna have to get a new guitar, like i tried doing it they way you did, and im getting a really bad fret buzz.

  • tht means somethings wrong with your neck

  • so what can I do? I have a bolt on neck just to let you know.

  • get the intonnation fixed its a 70 dollar tune up job

  • Try taking it into a shop and have them calibrate your truss rod. that might be the problem. YOU do NOT want to mess with the truss rod so I recommend you have someone with experience do it for you

  • @killeroforce ...? Well then raise the bridge. That's all you have to do for fret buzz.. If you're 100% sure that's what it is of course

  • @killeroforce u gotta screw around with the truss rod then

  • this was a great vid. it fixed my humming noise in the amp. i have a squire so the jack comes loose often. BTW, nice stack of games. you play online?

  • yea

  • "give it a blow" lmao & my guitars input jus came out & i had to tighten the nut on the input i was soo scared bcuz i cudnt do it from the outside so i unscrewed it & its fixed now but ima buy a new 1 wit a whammy bar

  • lmao "tighten the nut"

  • lmao

  • align to the screw hole haha

  • dont be jealous because people liked my video and not yours

  • thanks for posting this, i had troubles with my guitar.

  • wat if my wire ripped do i have to get it repared?or will tape work?

  • um i think u need that repaired

  • maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!alright thanx

  • um the same thing happened with mine u could use only ELECTRIC TAPE its really hard though

  • if it rips you can get it repaired or solder it back together :P

  • i recomend getting it fixed

  • yeah i know its better to have a pro do it but if your handy with tools its nice to save some money and for future repairs

  • true but i fixed it with electrical tape and i worked for awhile a good 2 months i would say

  • Loose guitar jack. the guitar lead was coming out. lol.
