Anyway, Aion had its chance to stun the world and instead by lvl 25 it turned into a shitty grindfest like every other korean mmo. Such a pity this game is so undermanaged. Can you believe that such pvp game has no real pvp? Unless, of course, you consider fighting in maps so packed of mobs that you not even can move that is restricted to a small little area ^^.
I agree with BurrTheKing, I hate staying in 1 area for hours killing cute monkeys and floating dirt (I'm lvl 20), I would also like some sort of battleground for lower levels. And also, what's up with all the no-fly zones, I finally get my wings and can't use them anywhere, that's the way the game is unique (considering gameplay and not style)

It's a good looking game, but makes the same mistakes most MMOs make, grinding, I honestly just want to be able to go through the story and have the primary and a few secondary quests be enough to lvl me to the next area. I quit because I just got tired of spending pointless hours doing the same thing. That's one thing Guild Wars did right, no lvl grinding, and rare items are for looks only.
@BurrTheKing WoW made their game less of a grind and screwed it up.. people could level so fast that they could have max level toons and still have no clue how to play them.. my biggest issue with Aion, when it first came out, was that you could complete all the quests in an area and still not be high enough to go to the next area..
@massh0le That's what I mean, in GW all you have to do is most of the side quests then the main quests and your max lvl. Even with a max lvl char you could still suck since they made it more skill based. Hopefully they keep that somewhat I know the lvl cap increased but the story is probably longer. In Aion I spent so long in one area I forgot what most of the story was. Not to mention most of the "main" quests had nothing to do with the overarching story. It's not a bad game but it's generic.
