Awful Design, right idea though. When it comes to early prototypes of mechs, the design should all be the same. Instead of full standing mechs (Because that won't be practical until better systems are created) are ridiculous.

Think of what your knees look like when you bend to jump. That's the leg style that will be most effective. Not only that, but the angle is perfect for weapon capabilities, more so a howitzer than anything else.

A 'Mech won't be truly efficient and mobile until we can create something like the myomer muscles in Battletech i mean look hes got the hydrauliks (ya i know i can't spell it) on the outside one bullet hitting those will immobilize an entire limb and the pilot is totally exposed

@HighlordSarnex YEah but then again consider that this is not a combat mech,but more of a proof of concept, he probably ony has 1 pump per piston, if you attach multiple pumps. then flow rate will be higher and so will reaction time. proof of concepts can have their components exposed, (but then again there are countless flaws with this design i can point out. but i wont in this post)(and i may not ever unless asked))
