My Oscar laying eggs . I just notice it when I woke up this morning . That's why I'm looking forward to the videos that can help me to keep those eggs .
I just keep them in my pond with my Flowerhorns . Hope it will hatch soon .

Oscars are monomorphic. Meaning both Males and Females look the same. Colorations, size and fin structures are unique to individual fish, not by sex. There is no way to tell a female and male Oscar apart until they actually spawn. Best way to get a mating pair is to put about 6 or 7 together and let them pair off. Once they've "Paired" take a pair to keep and remove the rest. Hopefully you'll end up with a mating pair and not two male or two female "friends".
absolutely right... it is almost impossible to tell sex by physical features... there is a way to test sex however, if im not mistaken the procedure may kill the fish so obviously i dont subscribe to or recommend this method... the best way is as described below... pair them off and see what happens
other than disection the only way that you can sex an oscar is to look at their anal gland. if its a male there should be 2 small holes oo if its a female it should have one small one large oO the large is connected to the egg tube. but even that is not 100% accurate.

It is near impossible to tell the sex of an oscar, some say by the slope of the face but the best is to get 6 or more and wait until they pair off

I'm fed up of my oscars as they only eat without laying eggs though they are large enough!by the way how can i tell the male or female?
