According to Wikipedia Iran is supposed to have them, but i have never seen a photo of an IRIAF Mig-25...or a Su-20/22 for that matter...but there are plenty of photos of Mirage F1 or SU-25...so what's the deal?

Start looking from 2:00 aren´t they Iraqis? Man I was in Service with the Iraqi Airforce from 1980 till 1990. And I have flown the Mirage F1EQ and the MIG25. And I can tell you that the Super Etendard was first flown by French but later, when the contract was signed, it was flown by our brothers, the Iraqi Pilots.

I want to make a correction, the Mig-23 was not a sophisticated fighter, thus it was mostly manned by your own pilots. I want to add that the SU-24 another long range strategic bomber was mostly flown by loaned Soviet pilots.

I am not fabricating/or making this up.

These facts have already been observed, recognized & accepted by the world community, and the involving nations in particular.

I will my heart beats for iraq, the iraqi nation and armed forces, especially the airforce. but I read that two out of those five Super Etandard were shot down. but then again even with the french airforce they didn't have to fight planes like the F-14 tom cat. even in desert storm they didn't score any air to air kills against the iraqis and i'm very sure they sent their airforce in that war. in my opinon anyone who has to fight an American aircraft is a better pilot then the American.

there was i kill of an F15C on 29 jan1991, the bandit was a Mig 25 PD, u r rite, it has never been confirmed by the americans. there is another victory in 1993 against an F15E, again by a Mig 25 PD, but it only succeeded in damaging it, not getting it down.

there was 3 kills in 1967 war both were scored in a Hunter; 1 by Salim & 2 by Saif Azam, they scored against IDF vantour IIN & Mirage III

14 kills in the 1973 war using Hunters, Mig 17 and Mig 21, victories were against IDF Mirage III and Neshers, SMB2, A4 and F4

During the war with Iran, 20 victories aganist F14; 13 kills and 7 damaged. overall kill ratio 4:5 in favour of the IrAF. 2 aces; Ali Sabah & Rayyan. 1 double ace; Omar Goben

There were 7 air to air victories by the IrAF in the first gulf war, the allies will fiercely deny this, it included 4 kills including the first kill of an F18 and an F15c; both by Mig 25, the other 2 kills were an italian and a RAF tornado; both by Mig 29, the kill rate was 1:5.5 in favour of the allies

they were clearly some fine and brave pilots, they were let down by politics and a government forcing them to adapt a very conservative doctrine.

Actualy no there were NO A2A victories against the american pilots. But you did shoot down one of our drones. I think you shot down a saudie pilot. But you didn't shoot down any american pilots

And iraq had many mig-29s and even some Su-25s. Not just junk

I didn't claimed that we didn't lose any Jets, but they are really few, even you can find it on the Net, still in good condition!!

I don't know about Saudi Pilot, but i'm quite sure about these:-

F-111, Tornado, F-18, 100% sure about it!!

And this is just in A2A combats..other informations about shooting down anF-16s, not quite sure about it???!!!!

OK..the only MIG25 that i know been shot down when it's back from it's mission (low altitude)(used the same routes it's went from to returned back to Base)so the HAWK systems were just ready for him!!

And about MIG25 been taken down by F-5, has no idea..gonna check it!!

I agree with you, we must always honor our heroic pilots. the world seems to forget that they had to face 34 nations, and the latest technology, with obsolete avionics- (Iraqi) and despite that the iraqi heros managed to destroy and damage the latest technology by the world. 34 nations and it took them a month to win that makes me think of the kind of army and airforce we had. thats why I love your videos because it tells their stories and reminds the world of our forgotten iraqi heros.

He's the (Hero of Al.Qadissiya) done 100s of missions above the Iranian Kharge Island!!

So, we most recognise the Great Pilot by his Gestes!!
