I believe Polar bears DO know the difference between Wild Life and Captivity, All animals have INSTINCTS that tell them that there is something More that they should be doing, So would they not be longing and desiring to Full fill those instincts???

For all we know this could be a natural thing in wild because it's not like we can put a camera in to a wild den, see the mother give birth and then have film of her leaving her cubs behind.

I totally agree with you funkyMonk1985....i feel badly that they have to life in an unnatural habitat but if thats the way they live and survive....then thats just how it is. If i was locked up in a cage i wouldn't like it either, but they are animals and they don't know the difference if they grew up in a zoo and doesn't know the difference between the wild and captivity. what a cute one though!
