  • the only problem is the shoulders, u need 2 keep them relaxed thers no need 2 bring them up, not doin any thing just wasting energy, the only time u need 2 bring ur shoulders up is wen u punch 2 protect ur jaw wen ur hands arnt ther, but that just happens if u tuck ur chin.

    a relaxed quick fighter can last longer then a tench stiff one

  • If you rotated a little bit more on the jab block thing, wouldn't you be able to deliver a devastating cross?

  • @chispygato Yes, that's possible, but it's fairly uncommon to attack without alternating sides (left-right-left etc). If you want to do that you must draw forward your hind (kicking) leg while performing the jab, then launch the front leg while withdrawing the left fist back into defense.

    It won't have the power of a normal kick, but can be very effective if the opponent's defence is high like shown here in the video.

  • @Blahb27 Thanks man, sounds good. Theory is so interesting because when you fight, reflex action are all that matter, so it's good to have a good theory and all reactions well assimilated. Very interesting, cheers!

  • @chispygato yes you can get a kick on the ribs.. i think this technique is better for boxers... in real fight i would just avoid t he punch by blocking with a regular block..

    there is nothng wrng with this tech, cause if you thing like this dat if u do dis i can do that then you wont be able to fight at all, cause for every attack there is a counter,

    but its on you that how good you are with your moves, if you perfect this tech you will be able to know when your opponent is going to puch you on face, and you can use this tech, but you shouldnt use it before perfecting

  • muy lindo y todo eso que ensenias pero es diferentes subir ha un ring y hacerlo jajajjaa pensas que los golpes del contrincante no van ha ser rapidos o con mucho fuerza tal manera que al bloquear el golpe con el brazo despues biene otro golpe mas y otro y otro... no uno solo jaja hay que haces??con el codo alto hay peligro de desgarrarse el brazo ademas no seas bobo y proba en combate lo que ensenias para ver que efectos secundarios tiene es mejor ligar un guantaso ha desgarrarse saludos

  • @theivorystrings. I'm not sure if you are alotta people aren't. But there's a great technique when you catch yourself getting kicked in the back of the knee to drop your weight on that leg catching their leg between your calve an hamstring. Done right you catch it roll forward take em down an then break the ankle if you want.

  • the round be more effective to the ribs rather the leg thanks for the blockin tip as im covertin from boxing to kickboxing and get caught out somtimes lol i will learn
