I had a teacher that would stop us mid scene and say things like "that was shit. I don't believe you. You're indicating. What are you doing? WHAT are you doing?" and she would also hit us in the back of the head repeatedly and say, "Get out of your head."
This is painful to watch. It's not bad but it brings back bad memories. I think acting classes are created to keep people from becoming actors.
