@haunter600 Jeremy has nothing close an emo voice of any sort. HEs one of the few in the genre who doesn't have a ridiculous high tenor for his cleans. "Cough" A Skylit Drive, Alesana, and even TDWP "Cough"
ADTR and PWD are very different as well. They shouldnt be compared. ADTR doesn't try to be technical. They are all about being catchy, which is one reason why their albums are great to listen to. PWD is one of those bands who I would say did their own "technical" thing.
@haunter600 Well, I wouldn't say they have no skill. Whose to say they can't shred like BOO or WTR? They choose to play pop-punk/hardcore instead. I should point out that without ADTR, I would never have listened to ABR or PWD, because I hates screaming until i listened to ADTR.
@ltarmenia4ever They probably cant shred... the tabs are simple, and the drums are easy. If the guitarist was any good, he would at least make the tabs a bit harder/faster...

@calebbb722 Wouldn't say it that way.... ADTR playes different music but they're still good in the muci they play. They are both equalls great but you prefer the style of PWD so you think that ADTR sucks (which is doesn't^^).
Horizons is my favorite album of all time, and i was hoping deep blue would kick ass, but i was wrong. some songs are alright, like this one, but it gets boring. i bet it would be a shit ton better if they went back to adam D for the production. The producer that did this album had never produced a metal band before

And Adam D is the man, but i mean honestly, i thought this album sucked compared to what it could have been. A couple of songs actually caught my ear but that was it. A few of them where just awful haha. I swear it sounded like they took 5 min to write the guitar parts and the drummer sounded like he took a step down. just my opinion
I fucking love everything parkway has ever done this album was amazing just like the last ones. I had the pleasure of seeing them over the summer and even meeting all of them personally. Amazing live show and amazing dudes<3

i would say this is as good as KWAS but a lot better than horizons. i dont dislike any songs on it and some have become some of my fave songs by them - wreckage, pressures, alone, deliver me and karma for instance.

Parkway Drive is great, but the two greatest Metalcore bands are UNEARTH and ALL THAT REMAINS. There is no doubt in that. (except the new ATR album... that sucked)
@Raqubor unearth is defintly a must see band in show but as much as i love all that remains and as much as how kickass they are in show, they do not place themselv over the old parkway drive. i hate saying that since i have an awesome atr t shirt and none for pwd -.-

I haven't heard the whole CD, but this new album just seems way too 'smooth' and 'mellow'...I'm not sure how to describe it. The vocals don't have the same emotion as their old stuff.
U have to appreciate PWD to love this album...u cant start listening from deep blue and onwards. Start from Killing With A Smile and before and thats how much more u will love this album.

I have to say, Horizons is the third best Album I've ever heard.
It must be so hard,to make a new one,that takes everything further.
Maybe some ar dissapointed,but did those people tried to write a song by theire self?
Even if this Album is not a 10,it is a really good CD and you all know how hard it is,to follow Horizons or KWAS

@moonstarproductions completely agree with you, im 18 now iv been steadily listening to PWD for a solid 4 years now.. not the same crunch factor they had in previous albums... compare any of these songs to boneyards/feed them to the pigs/romance is dead/frostbite etc; dont think they come to par. cheers

Parkway Drive is great, but the two greatest Metalcore bands are UNEARTH and ALL THAT REMAINS. There is no doubt in that. (except the new ATR album... that sucked)

@Raqubor unearth is defintly a must see band in show but as much as i love all that remains and as much as how kickass they are in show, they do not place themselv over the old parkway drive. i hate saying that since i have an awesome atr t shirt and none for pwd -.-
and about caleb com, agreed about it all but for texas in july.they suck put unearth instead and replace for today by all that remains and voila :)

They wanted a different sound.
Listen to Some Of The People, All Of The Time. Is THAT mainstream? Is For We Are Many mainstream? Keepers of Fellow Man is kind of slow, but is THAT mainstream? Is Dead Wrong Mainstream? Is Aggresive Opposition different?
I think not.
They had three or four slower, mellower songs.
There's a difference between making a different sound for an album and "going mainstream."

I haven't heard the whole CD, but this new album just seems way too 'smooth' and 'mellow'...I'm not sure how to describe it. The vocals don't have the same emotion as their old stuff.

U have to appreciate PWD to love this album...u cant start listening from deep blue and onwards. Start from Killing With A Smile and before and thats how much more u will love this album.
