This should be better than skyrim due to the fact that the combat n customization of skills and combo's and the nice variety of weapons will get you more engaged whilst the class customization seems to, yes follow the traditional rpg sense but then knock it out with its super freedom, look at skyrims combat its boring as hell, quest, kill dragon, learn shout, quest, dragon, shout, at least with this you'll have fun with your questing due to combat mechanics, -preordered ^.^

@grkpektis I've already completed my Skyrim game, 50/50 steam achievements, every skill 100, blah blah blah, so I'm gonna be trying Reckoning out regardless. But Reckoning's combat system intrigues me. It seems to be much more fast paced than Skyrim, which is slow and basically just swing swing chop done.

@kynsum While it may not be as photo realistic as Skyrim or Dark Souls the graphics are far from ps2. Beside the fact the combat looks much more fun and exciting. The combat in Skyrim is boring me now and I haven't played Dark Souls in months (though I have be feeling the itch to go back and play it). But Reckoning looks to be a more well rounded game than the aforementioned and my most anticipated game of this year.

@GodsmackFTW wow could be doable on console...DC Universe doesnt have nearly as many abilities but makes great use of the controller mapping and using trigger buttons for modifiers...I played wow with a 360 controller and was able to do most of what i wanted...of course it was only efficient for grinding but thats because it wasnt made for a controller...
