After reviewing the specification of iPhone 3G, we are confident iPowerJacket will work with iPhone 3G. But the full compatibility with iPhone 3G will be confirmed as soon as we finish the test with the actual iPhone 3G after July 11th.

I have purchased one of these that were available from Amazon and unfortunately it does not work on my iPhone 3G. The 3G phone is slightly wider and thicker and will not fit into the base.

This does look like an amazing product and I was willing to "take one for the team" in hopes that I would be able to have one of the few currently remaining cases from Amazon. I'm now debating on either returning it, or taking a dremel to it to try and force it to work.

I recently received my iPowerJacket 3G and so far this thing has exceeded all of my expectations. The extra battery time is such a lifesaver and I'm quickly wondering how I lived without this before. No more disabling 3G or going into Airplane mode just to save my battery. Since it uses mini usb to charge I no longer find myself asking all my co workers to borrow their apple cables to charge my phone.
