It's a single speaker and it's on the back where those holes are. Sounds pretty good for a phone like this, I have the Black/Red version for Europe. Been a year now and it's a great, reliable phone. The headset ain't winning any prizes though. But with a nice pair of noise-cancelling earphones and it's a great music phone, I find myself using the radio all the time. It says it can only support up to 2 or 4 GB of memory but it works with 8 too.

The 2 silver grills on the front aren't stereo speakers. The left grill covers the lights, wich will blink when you play music. And the right grill is just for decoration. The speaker is on the back side of the phone.

But I guess he has discovered all this by now. XD

Got this phone with an even more plus plan with no contract. Paying $5.50 a month for 20 months, no interest on it. Sweet deal, especially since IM and email comes bundled with the text/talk plan. Highly recommend this phone

Well first of all, sorry if you already got a new phone.. I know I'm kinda late. Anyways, in case you're still interested, I got it on t-mobile with their new "even more plus" plans. It was an in-store deal, and the plan I'm on is 500 minutes a month with unlimited messages (including IM). I pay about $50 a month, with taxes and the monthly handset fee. You can get internet and more for more money, but I can live with what I got. Its a decent phone, I'd recommend it.

No actually in terms of performance and audio quality its a lot better than 5310. Its only in the looks department that 5310 scores over 5130.

5130 beats W995, 5800, iphone 3G in terms of audio quality according to GSMarena's test. Audio quality is comparable to latest ipod 2G touch. Pretty good for something that costs around $110.
