the announcer on ddr x is the most annoying of all time. I like DDR SN2 announcer cuz he never says a word while u play a song. And also ddrx for ps2 is terrible most of the songs on x sucks theres only like 5 or 6 that is good.

Sort of. The side light's speed (as well as the scrolling one on the bottom of the screen) depend on the speed of the song, and react to stops and BPM changes as well.

The color/height of the side lights depends on your life bar.
