Sperm dies quickly in open air. If kept in a jar, like a baby food jar, they will stay viable for a few hours, but will eventually die, making them unable to create life. I'm unsure of states' laws, but his story is strange.

For starters, she'd have to find out if his sperm was healthy, and viable. Perhaps she did take a sample to a doctor (after he left for work). After that, though, she'd have to be prepared for the In-Vitro procedure. It's like a surgery ...

I do infertility treatments-so i know about "specimens" & there's no way that he did it at night--and she "crashed" out like he said---and it was viable the next day! NOT POSSIBLE!

It needs to stay at a warm temperature & it's not worth anything after a few hours in the open air!!!!

So the story doesnt add up, i dont like the mom--but he is defintely one of her friends "TRYING TO GET SOME AIR TIME!"
