HTC HD2 touchscreen failure

NOOOO! I had a HD2 touch screen failure, and it's now at HTC getting fixed. Please don't tell me that this is going to happen to me?

such an easy fix.... in short details push on the top of the red button, then push the bottom of the red button, then push the green one... bam wow it works :) message me for questions...

The digitizer, which controls your touchscreen, is under the hangup button. Try pressing the button bit hard till it nudges the digitizer a little. It worked for me, hope it does for you! :)

i dont have the straight line problem but the menu and typing prob really freakin piss off me alot!!! this is my second screen replacement and yet still same!!!hows ur hd2 now?

i have a hd2 and got the same problem you got , my even dial the contact numbers randomly without touching the phone , frankly htc trying to refuse to deal with this issue because they knew the device is defected , i called and email them over number of times , but the answer was dispointed , so i end up installed android 2.2 on it , it seems solve the problem a bit , but it still act like that every now and then ... i am selling it and get the desire hd ...

Blehh. I did what you did and mine basically clicked the back button and went back to the start menu.. Everytime I lock my phone, it click the windows button and goes to the start menu and locks... It's really annoying.

I bought this phone from HTC India and facing exact same issue. I am unable to type ans that is frustrating. Will get it fixed today. Thank you for this video else I would have waited for some update to come and to fix this issue. I never tjought it was screen issue. I thought it was just a software issue.

i just got the hd2 i i sort of tested it with the methods u were minipulatin the phone and it doesnt really lagg as bad as urs but u know its a great phone and it just came out so ofcourse there is going top b some issues at first but u know ull manage just simply enjoy the phone :)

well the first device i got back two times and they called it repaired ... atm i have the third real new replacement and not repaired device and it works way better

btw like you can see in the background i just took out the phone from the package i got back from arvato services (german htc repair service) ... but my third replacement will arrive soon :) hopefully its finally a working unit

the most important or better most annoying failure is the one you see at 2:10 in my video ... i have had this on alsmost all devices. its not all the time but when you want to post a long comment in a forum that really sucks.

i have heard about working devices and thats what i am heading to. since i get a working hd2 i will be silent xD

Phone really sucks! big screen with problems.

Changed 3 different models, 1 head lots of dead pixels, second had problem with LED indicator, third has problem with typing and using touch control.

So pay attention when you getting this phone. Check everything correctly.

yeah the is why i react..change ur rom to a original why..if u are using another ether not a original is not htc problem..i put a winmo 6.5 from xda delop.. to my touchpro 2..is good but is not original and my phone didnt work the good ..recommend u to get the original rom or wait for xda delop to fix ur problem

i dont use xda roms till the phone works like it should. i now have another hd2 but it also shows some of the problems. i now wait for a new rom by htc, if this doesnt help i start to send it back again till i get a working one. this is a risk vendors have to live with, not my problem ;)

ok ..now htc have to solve u that problem...if their alot of report with the same problem they will have to get a update to those persons with that problem..i hope they do it,,becuase i want to buy mine when tmobile get it..and i know is very uncomfortable and discomfort when ur phone dont work well...u know.

well..that is very strange ..maybe is manufacture problems..u not using a rom from another person like a thidr party ? ...anyways u have to get that change, the hardware or the rom..

well actually they answer pretty fast. just one time i got a late late mail from htc. its just annoying to buy such an expensive phone with a failure and i dont blame htc for that. but they are the ones who have to fix it and they are working on it. the problem is the little guy who receives my phone and my letter about the failure. i sometimes beleive they dont really read it, turn on the phone and turn it off and say that one is working ...

They responded fast too... 1-2 days, but the answer is pretty generic. First response: Hard-reset. Second response: Send it to repair. So Web Service is always handicapped... Don't forget to tell how it went! Someone said that their screen was replaced.
