I worked for KOOZA last year in Seattle and Irina is truly amazing - probably the nicest woman I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Her costume is purple because she is featured in the "dark" part of the show - it goes along with the Day of the Dead inspiration.

I have a friend who travels and is a magician with Kooza for the past 3 years and he tells me that the show is ever evolving and adding new acts.

Even the music is changed up on a regular basis. Much less monotanous for the performers and pastrons. Irina is prety awesome though so it is a good addition!

I really love this act! It's great! I saw her in Delirium, and she was very good! the only thing that bugs me is sometimes she spins the hoop wayyyy too fast, not adding much more interest, but at the same time her form gets worse because of it. Although i can't talk because I'm nowhere near this level!

@Kooza2 I totally understand, and I much prefer her act in Delirium because the rhythm and timing just felt more synchonized for me. As an athlete though, I love watching her endurance, strength, and speed because those things take a while to harness. I love Elena Lev too, and believe they both just can't be compared, but Irina's act just attracts me more because of the athleticism. I just can't picture Elena as a "full" gymnast.

I really liked the number, but there's something about the suit that doesn't fit...it doesn't look so..Kooza-like. IMO i don't like it. But the rest is great!

@Celx You mean her costume. I think purple is a very good color to put in Kooza. Everything in the show doesn't always have to blue, orange, or red because most costumes are. I like it :P

@circusm139 Weird i saw this Kooza January. This act was in it but not the Hand to hand act. The hoop act is the replacement act for the juggling act which is now in LA Nouba in Orlando.

@brandontequilan1 Yeah, the Hand to Hand act was added about 2 months after the juggling act moved to La Nouba because the artist of Hand to Hand had to go to the Montreal headquarters and train like every other Cirque artist has to

This is a new act from kooza?? amazing !
