Most bands don't lip-sync/mime live, it's a very common stereotype in rock music.

It's the POP STARS who lip-sync/mime during live performances, such as Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Milli Vanilli, etc.

If you come across a rock band that sounds really great live, it's almost certain it's all from them live, not a playback of any sort. The only time bands mime is when they are forced too on certain TV programs, not festivals/gigs like these.
