I saw her as Lady Macbeth in 2002/2003 in Berlin Unter den Linden in what I consider the best Macbeth production I have seen so far and she was fantastic.

Saw her as Lady Macbeth this summer (2007) at Royal Albert Hall and it wasn't too impresive. High notes could be better, although she has a really powerfull BIG BIG voice.

That was really amazing!!
Saw her life in Covent Garden in 1996 as Abigaille and was even at that time : astonishing...and the voice is incredibly powerful but still doing a lot of colors!
Than saw her again in Elisabetta de Valois and Tosca ...She is great !Great acting too!

Wow! I've never heard of Valayre before, but she is great in this role. Stupendous sound and acting, almost too pretty of a voice to play LM, lol. I agree the staging concept is a little out there, but at least it is visually aresting and different from what we normally see.

She does not seem to grasp the concept of Lady Mavbeth..she smiles all the time....it is not convincing... the staging is not correct, it looks more like something Gilda from rigoletto would be at..it ´s a great voice though

Bicha ela estava ironica! Achei um luxo! E a voz que ela tem é super esquisita!O agudo é um luxo.Mas o centro e super escuro!Enfim é meio estranho o som dela!Se separarmos em partes é bom.O conjunto deixa a desejar!E teatro é querer muito, diante de tanto grito!
