peters album was always gonna b #2 at best know? with the unbridled genius of ace frehley there was only ever gonna b 1 winner yea? there was a chance gene or paul might of made a decent solo effort, but they didn't so ace was revealed as the brains and peter as the closest kiss got to a soul. i jumped straight to when you wish upon a star from genes record & boy did i laugh. out loud.
if you guys love Peter's music then you guys need to go crawl under the rock you been living under. Peter is a douche bag, always has and always will. KISS should never have hired him. He's a washed up druggy. Plus he's a dumb white boy too
@XYtruck25 Woah, you're completely right. I definitely won't listen to this song any longer. If only I knew he was a white, washed-up druggy, I never would've considered even farting in his direction. Thank you for saving my soul from certain damnation.
Is this the album version? I find it strange to be, because he says "This is New York" at the beggining, but all the versions I find have that part too. Can someone explain it to me?
Peter has said in the past that this is his best vocal performance that truly satisfied his tastes.. I somewhat agree, but I do prefer his heavier side like: "Baby Driver."
Peter, without him you lost the true kick of Kiss. We all lost something, when peter and Ace left ( our youth, that sound that brings us back to a time, it was warm and it rocked.) Thank god for recordings, they can't take that away from us - Peter and Ace thank you,--I'm forever young.

yeah, i liked peter criss-when i was 12, but come on, this song is boring and just not great. i can appreciate all kinds of music, but i'd rather rub a cheese grader on my genitals than listen to this again.
@IndyRoxxx Gotta disagree there. Ringo's drumming was very distinctive because his downbeats were slightly before the beat, and his upbeats slightly after the beat, creating a unique "chuggy" sound that many people love, including myself. His fills were also very melodic and inventive. So, no, he was not "awful" in the least.
What helped this solo album outlast the other three in my collection... Early pressings on LP had an insert listing musicians/singers/recording studios/engineering personnel thrown in w/ the vinyl...
I love all of Peter's songs in kiss. Gene & Paul were control freaks and still are. i heard stuff off of the new album. utter crap. i'll be buying aces. at least the first song, 'OuterSpace' rocks!

I think if they had marketed his solo album in the kenny rogers, billy joel, etc market, it would have outsold all of the kiss solo albums
