I first heard the song on movie.Valarie Carter,a american singer-song writer,perhaps better know as back-up singer.Her voice is brilliant.Once again,I smile.Thank you,beautiful work!
Good question. She did tour singing back-up for James Taylor. Maybe because Lowell George died and could not produce her albulms. Her voice is incredible, it just sparkles. It gives me goosebumps listening to this song.
Beautiful, emotional song. Heard it when I saw "Over The Edge" (A great movie; If you were a kid in the late 70's, you know what I mean!); Great voice Valerie!!
JoeyPNB: Thank you for your kind comments. That's where I first heard the song and loved it every since. Valerie's version of the song is as you said very beautiful and emotional. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
Over the Edge was directed by Jonathan Kaplan. It was based on "true" events of bored and rebellious teens in Foster City, CA but the movie was set in Colorado. Matt Dillon's first movie. Best part of the movie was this song at the end.
