Actually no, its not because of heat. the exhaust tips were designed so it acts as diffusers over a certain speed. They are fully functional. Actually, a lot of high end exotic cars also incorporated this concept, but bmw and others have yet to learn (because they are getting fixed all day)

I have driven BMW for the last 5 years (three in total). BMW are enthusiasts cars, you know full well that they are not the best in the market and you know they are not the most reliable but buy anyway. I bought a Lexus 4 months ago and regret not doing so sooner. I love BMW and will always love them, but Lexus make better cars end of story. Dont take my word for it though, a quick google search and you can see the facts and let them do the talking.

Remeber too that Lexus engineers design every aspect of the car to reach 250,000 miles. Try that in a new bmw or audi. Trust me I own a 1998 LS400 with 140,000 miles and everything still works on it, the pnly work that I have done to it was a timing belt at 100,000 miles but that is recommended. No rattles no leaks no squeaks and still starts up every time.

The ISF is better becuase. For one its a Lexus, which means the build quality is far above any Audi or BMW (consumer reports). Its is less expensive and gets better MPGs. The motor makes about 70ft lbs of torque than M3 and 60 more than Audi, which is more useful for everyday driving when coupled with the 8 speed tranny. The list of features is miles longer than any M3 or Rs4. You send me all the reviews you can find that compare e92 M3 and the ISF. The facts dont lie!!

If you want 2 get technical I would say drink a beer! Why? You have to consider total utility of both, plus cost/benefit. The beer gives you much more satisfaction and only costs about $0.74 per can. The bottled water does not give you any satisfaction but costs about a $1.28 (in CA).

It is all personal preference! You like the s65 over the others but as far as looks the 760il looks the best to me. But when it came down to comparison. I would choose the LS600hl any day over the others for two simple reasons, Features (LS600hl can drive it self on the highway) and build quality (will last for 250,000 miles). S65 starts at $194,000 and is a second faster in 0-60. Ls600hl starts at $104,000 and beats it in every other category except 0-60. Which one is better?

These are about all the same price as each other. You can get a 2008 RS4, M3, IS-F, or C63AMG right in the $ 60,000.00 range. Now, maybe you prefer drag racing and luxury. But me I prefer what its meant to do. You get the driving experience from the M3, its simply a drivers car. The M3 is and always was the best in its class, even if it did loose in a drag race. wow, tell me where your getting a $ 56000 IS-F cause last time I saw MotorTrend showed a 1,000 difference in between the M3, C63 AMG, and IS-F and they were all around $ 60K. I would rather take the M3 and beat both RS4 and IS-F at the track. It doesn't bother me about top speed cause there is no place to hit it besides the Autobahn. The IS-F has a torque converter but it only locks up in first gear while in manumatic. Then it's hooked up directly to the engine gears 2-8.

WRONG! Do some research and check out BMV's RS4 test it laped Tsukuba slower than both IS-F and new M3. Only thing it did was beat old E46 M3 SMG. And it understeered pretty much all the time. I don't recall any "Performance" car would only understeer all the time? At least NOT IS-F or M3. And please wake up and smell the future, Ferrari F1, BMW SMG, GTR Twinclutch, Mitsubishi SST all of the above mentioned vehicle are Semi-auto tranny. And MBenz C63 uses Auto with S.A Feature too?

Lexus driver had an amazing start. unlike insideline driver which had massive wheel spin which leads to the slow 0-100km/h time as well as 1/4mile time.

What I was trying to get across is that..Given an AWD model next to the same car with RWD..the RWD would take it off the start, and not just because of the weight difference. And Bishop...maybe it was a bit harsh to say "bog" but thats the closest word I could think of to describe that feeling.
