The lyrics are good but totally cheesy and mostly historically inaccurate, love them none the less but still. Don't be naive.

@devymetalforlife Well, I did say "One" of the best, not "The" best. But if I could have re-wrote that, I'd say in Melodic Deathmetal, he is one of the best. and this song just has so much feeling into it, and that's what matters here. Obviously it's not historically correct. But it's seeable that he wasn't going for accuracy in history with this song, he was going for a sad, emotional story based with Norse mythology stuff and what not. But that deep and sad story is what makes this song great.

Yeah Ensiferum and Eluveitie are awesome. There's Finntroll, Equilibrium, some old Enslaved (Havenless is an awesome song by them), Falkenbach, Einherjer, Moonsorrow, Manegarm, Negura Bunget, Thyrfing, TYR is a good one, and Waylander...of course there are more but those are the main ones I can think of for you.
