How about a fact based discussion? Obama's Dad was muslim, so in the eyes of all muslims globally, he is a muslim (Cenk should know this). He was not raised a Christian - by his own admission. And he has actually banned using the term Jihad or Islamic fundamentalism as driving Muslim terror. By his own admission, while he belonged to a church in chicago, he rarely went. So, really, given all of this, it isn't crazy to suspect. It may be wrong, but not crazy.

In Christianity, it usually requires a baptism and maybe other sacraments to actually be Christian, it has nothing to do with one's parents religion. Judaism is the same, it is inherited from the Mother - the father's religion is irrelevant. But you apparently don't know shit from shinola, do you? I'm an atheist, btw and I'm not sure what obama is. But it's not crazy to wonder.

From my observations, if you're wondering how they come to these singular conclusions, or how they gather specific facts about specific topics, you're thinking too hard.

It's simply like this. Republicans believe Obama is bad. If something is bad, or scary-sounding, than Obama is also it. So they don't think.. "well Obama's muslim, but not quiiite the anti-christ, communist, but not quite a Nazi." They just go onto polls, and say whatever is scary, Obama is.

I don't know about that 9/11 poll. If the poll was worded like " Do you think 9/11 was an inside job? ", I'd say no, but if the poll asked "Do you think the government was responsible for 9/11 ?" I'd be inclinded to say yes b/c it is the government's responsibility to protect us and obviously they failed in that area.
