Wow. I live in Morgan Hill by the lake just a little bit down the hill from Henry Coe where the fire started. I had no idea so much was visible from San Jose. We got a bit of glow and billowing smoke the first day, but after that it was just smoke (and lots of it).

I saw this all the way from south san jose. after the 1st day you couldnt see the glow anymore.

I couldn't believe how dark the horizon was when driving down 101 South heading home from work.
