Im half italian i supported Minardi when i was 4 years it was 1999

but now i support the Torro Rossi the new (Minardi)

They stubbornly survived for many years, in a time when lots of teams used to pass away after a few disastrous seasons, and stood tall despite all the financial issues. It must be acknowledged that they launched many relevant drivers (Alonso above all) and introduced some innovations which were quickly exploited by "better" teams.

It must be remembered that most of Minardi's time in F1 was in the rules of points only down to 6th place not down to 8th as today. I think you will find Minardi and lots of other F1 drivers finished 7th & 8th but are not metioned in the points records compared to today

Oui, il a fini 8ème sur 9 pilotes classés (même si Fisichella n'a pas vraiment fini la course).
