  • Happy New Year, what you remind me on these 2 vids...my father was Olympic station engineer in Nicosia Cyprus ,and used to do the handling of Sabena 707,technical landing for fuel coming from the Far East....,once,in 1970, it was an early turbojet version with fuel leak from the fuel pump, tried to replace with our pump spare part, to no avail,...we had the JT3D engs with different fittings....,so my dad had to improvise,...i was then 15....good memories

  • Wow!! the Boeing 707-329 OO-SJB was on more than this video clip. It wasa an early B-707 with Prat & Whitney Turbojet and the tail looks "stubby" Compared to the later B707s.

See SABENA: jet age for more details. OO-SJB was featured there also.

OO-SJB was the 92nd B-707 was rolled of the line.

  • B-707, OO-SJB, 1959-1961.Crashed on 15, Feb, 1961 near Brussel-Zaventem Airport killing all occupants.'
