It was in an Integra Type-R. The handling is actually quite neutral; it doesn't drive like most FWD cars. The spin was totally my fault, of course - off power through a turn over the crest of a hill with a slight bump + cold tires + cold track + too slow with the correction = lazy spin. I choose to look at it as a learning experience!
@SparkyRacer yes your right, really nice learning experience - no damage to the car! i have a Renault R5 GTE supercharged, for track only... it has 120 HP :) Maby we meet on track ! :)
Nice! We don't see many of those over here. I don't often get the opportunity to drive on tracks in Europe, although I have driven the Hokenheimring and Nurburgring (cliché, I know.) I'm trying to arrange a track day at Spa but the timing just never works out. Monza would be nice also, and Silverstone, Magny-Cours, Estoril, Hungaroring... so many tracks, so little time... and money ;-)
@SparkyRacer "so many tracks, so little time... and money"... yes, i know :) until now i raced on Guadix Circuit and Valencia Circuit, i recommend them in Spain. if we'll meet, i'll be glad to have some cold beers on me; but no drink and drive! :) have a nice day and drive safe
That looked fun.. I know this sounds dorky but I did something sort of similar in a toyota prius.. rofl..It had all that traction control, stability control stuff or I'd probly be dead. HAHA
