  • Very beautifully played...but that was the ENTIRE Anthem?! MAN, that was short...and to the point! Gotta love that.

  • Admirables la Disciplina, Marcialidad y sobretodo el marcado respeto del público con ese hermoso Himno Nacional. Con razón está ese país, donde está¡¡¡

  • @ryankorkowski your not a very well english speaker, i dont even get your response, so GTFO and STFU

  • What a nice time to hear this beautiful anthem...i.e. time so many of us around the world are sending out good thoughts and prayers for Japan. It was perfectly executed! Notice the hands as they marched....perfect unison. I pray for peace and friendship between Japan and the USA always. And recovery and prosperity for Japan!

  • the shortest national anthem in the world

the oldest national anthem in the world

and the greatest national anthem in the world

    <3

  • Aybody knows what the second musical piece was? was it like a compliment to the anthem or like a march tune?

  • Simply perfect!

  • Since I am Japanese, every time I listen to this I feel so proud of my home land. GO NIPPON!!!!

  • @shinkansenmaster Damn!I addict Japanese culture,wanna buy a samurai armor @@

  • Respekt auch für Japan, ist ja klar...

  • Excellent discipline and training. Great band!

  • 天皇陛下万歳!

  • Every time I hear this song, and see the Shining Sun Rise.

All arms would salute, and the loyalty would beat in size.

Long live Japan, may her sun rise for Japan and the rest of the world bringing light and joy forever

  • Yes the Japanese have a beloved anthem, but greed had ruined their history. (Sino-Japanese War)

  • Nice> Long Live Japan.

  • Long live Japan and the US

  • i feel sadness in the anthem itself andto think they were once people with high pride but after the war they changed T_T i feel kinda bad for the people of japan but atleast they are advance in technology hahaha and im loving it ^_^

  • I expected it to be longer, but that's okay.

  • An epic song for an epic country

  • テンポ早過ぎない?

  • Every time I hear the Kimigayo I fell sort of sad for the part Japan played in WWII. A somewhat dark chapter in the history of a great country.

  • this national anthem expresses the feelings of the people of Japan knowing they had lost the war. It sounds very solemn and gloomy. It sounds very good. I like!

  • @EmilTakagi

Its ok the japanese feel that way too and people can change, i myself am an american but everyone says i japanese even thou im white

probaly becouse i like japan alote.

  • @Vahnuyasha

My family is Japanese, and I have Japanese blood in me. The words in Kimigayo don't exactly scream: "we have changed". Of course Japan has changed yes, but you can't change historie. Since this song hasn't been change or anything, I can't help but remember the horrible things, that Japan did to Asia and Japan it self.

The war has completely ruined the pride in most of the traditional ways, and turned Japan into what one could see, as a replica of America, and I find that very sad.

  • @EmilTakagi

ok i see but dont foreget this my master is japanese and he died by the blade a swword some of the old ways are still beeing followed and i dont think japan had any right to whatt they did but crap happens.

so live life feel good about your blood and culture and never foreget poeple can and will change even if i have to make them hahaha

    Long Live Japan!

  • @Vahnuyasha

Maybe you should smoke a little less grass man.

  • @EmilTakagi

ok i dont smoke and yes i gess Japan should pay for what they done but still theyll cool people.

  • @EmilTakagi funny how no one mentions americas dark past during ww2 ... like dropping TWO atomic bombs on civilians ...

  • @Mohsin77 Well, even if dropping to atomic bombs on some isn't very nice, to them or to the world. The alternative was to try and embark on land with troops and ground forces. Japan would not have surrendered before absolute everything was lost and every single healthy man and woman in Japan was dead or dieing. It would have been Germany all over again. So even with all that was destroyed and all who where killed by the atomic bomb, dropping them probably saved lives. Even if it was horrible...

  • @EmilTakagi dropping atomic bombs 'isnt very nice' ... are you an insane lunatic ?

  • @Mohsin77 Did you even read what I said? It WAS horrible, but millions where gonna die no matter what anyone would have done, it not like I would have dropped the bomb, but even you, should understand that there WAS good intentions behind the bomb. Besides, Trueman did what he jugged to be right, don't like it? Then don't do it again.

  • @EmilTakagi LOL good intentions .. wow what a sheep XD if Truman told you to kill your family you would probably do it ... after all he only had good intentions, you knew him personally right ? good friends yeah ? LOOOOOOL XD idiot.

  • @Mohsin77 ... It looks like I found one with a collage degree here...

  • @EmilTakagi The war was all but won by the time we dropped the atom bombs. There were people on the Japanese side who wanted peace talks.

  • @prepschoolkid Uhm... well that was the main point...?

  • @EmilTakagi Most of there history has been forged in blood, They've basically been traumatized by war. That in of its self is sad.

  • @GeneralArrow I'm afraid all history, or most of it, is forged by warfare, just look at Europa and Asia in general. I'm sorry but, what do you mean by "traumatized by war", as in "we don't like that stuff"? or like post-traumatic stress?

  • May Japan rise again!

  • Truly Beautiful.

  • long live japan

    god bless rising sun land

  • The march played after the national anthem is very nice.

  • こういう事もしているのねぇ・・・・知らなかった。(^-^b

  • Wished japan had something like a silent drill platoon...

  • What is the march they play (very well) AFTER they play the Kimi-ga-yo?

  • it sounds like a variation of "sword drawn police", which is my personal favorite of Japanese military band pieces. It probably isn't but it sounds related enough to be perhaps by the same composer.

  • god bless eternal nippon
