Hawaiian Airlines 767-300 Departs PDX's Runway 28L

But the pilots almost took off with with wingtips and the top of the wing covered in ice...until we passengers raised hell. Lost all faith in Hawaiin Airlines from then on. They never even bothered to check to see the job was done correctly; the de-icers giving the middle finger to us looking at them when their nozzle would not work and then told(radioed) the pilots our plane was de-iced. Don't trust anyone..that is my motto.

I took off on that same flight in a blizzard in Decembr 2008. The worst storm Portland had seen in a long time. Returning back from Maui...my car was frozen in 3-4ft of snow that had turned to ice. It was a nightmare getting the car thawed out.

fabulous.... hawaiian is the best airlines, the safest airlines and the only airlines with Aloha... good work hawaiian looking forward to many years of flying with you... and i can wait to hawaiian gets their new A320 and a340 XWB in April of 2010

I really enjoyed flying on the 767. The layout of 2-3-2 in economy is quite roomy.

MD-80 s definitely the loudest on takeoff, and the quietest is probably the Dash 8.
